Been here several times. Excellent location for all of the costal towns. Comfortable hotel. Rooms recently upgraded so shower room is excellent. Food's always good. Breakfast is superb.
Keep an eye on your bill though. We've had a few, albeit minor and sorted quickly, unexpected entries over the years.

We stayed overnight at Links Hotel to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. |Oh my goodness we had the most amazing stay & we cannot fault in any way.|From phoning to book a room on ground floor ( hubby has mobilty difficulties) to leaving, everything was excellent. The staff were friendly, professional and very helpful to us. |The room was very comfortable. Bed and pillows gave us a good nights sleep! ||We booked Afternoon tea ( they checked we had no allergies) The staff put bunting & birthday confetti which was a lovely touch. The Afternoon Tea was delicious with good quality sandwiches, sconces both savoury & sweet, cakes & trifle. ||Our evening meal was delicious with the Lamb Shank falling off the bone|& the Vegetarian Gluten Free Cauliflower & Chickpea Roulade with a delicious mixed bean stew, kale with Fig & Pear syrup. The topping was crunchy and the chefs own recipe! |||The choice for breakfast was a good choice. Food was hot with eggs of our choices were cooked by order. ||I highly recommend Links Hotel

Firstly we chose this hotel after quite a bit of searching in the area. My Wife was taking part in MacMillan Mighty Hike and we have two dogs. ||So to the positive the room we had was bright and clean and in the Courtyard which gave us easy access to walking with the dogs. ||The breakfast was reasonable and in fact better than I have had in Big brand hotels. The staff were both helpful and pleasant. ||We didn’t use the restaurant for evening meals as there is a good selection nearby in all directions. If you go at a busy time then a number will be booked however there is a nearby Pub which was busy “The Village Inn” and also a Thai restaurant which we didn’t visit. ||However if it is seafood then a must is the Rocky Bottom on the way into Cromer. You can see my review and decide for yourself. ||The negatives only two, it is perhaps a bit pricey but it is convenient and also the towels are a bit thin but clean and a heated towel rail. ||I can recommend it taking everything into account.

Spent a night here and had breakfast the next day. Nice clean room. Comfy bed.
Had breakfast via room service, was bought up at the time I requested. Full English was spot on.
I also want to add that Wendy who greeted us at check in, served us at the bar and also checked us out, was really lovely. Very polite, friendly and helpful.
Will definitely stay again.

This was our third time staying at this lovely hotel, and I’ve always enjoyed the friendly staff, great location, and beautiful decor. The general ambiance has always made it a go-to choice for me. While the mattress was a bit too soft (to the point you end up rolling into each other in middle!) and the pillows too firm for my liking, that’s just my personal preference. The room was clean and we loved the 'his & hers' sink! Breakfast was good and we were impressed with the cost of the bar... Cream tea for £6.50 which included 2 scones I thought was very reasonable. Oh, and always take the lift, just simply for the experience (it's an old one you have to pull the gate across yourself!).||Unfortunately, this visit left me feeling a bit let down though. I paid extra for a Deluxe room (Room 251), which was indeed spacious and well-appointed. However, it’s located directly above the function room. We weren’t informed in advance or at check-in that there would be loud music until 12:15am. The drum kit was DIRECTLY beneath us, making it impossible to sleep until closer to 1am, as the noise continued with guests leaving, talking and smoking outside. It's an old building (which we love), but that means you hear everything, including a room full of people singing "Sweet Caroline" at midnight below you.||When I raised this politely with the very helpful & friendly receptionist upon checkout, she acknowledged the issue and even seemed aware that Room 251 can be noisy during events due to its location. While I appreciated the apology, I was surprised that no gesture of goodwill was offered - something as simple as a deduction on breakfast (£27) would have made a difference to acknowledge the disrupted sleep we got that night.||Had we been made aware of the potential noise in advance, I would have gladly discussed other options like another room, even if it meant downgrading perhaps. After spending £350+, including food and drink, this experience has left me unsure if I’ll return, which is a shame considering how much we've previously enjoyed staying here.

Fantastic stay at the links, had Room 219 which was huge with separate seating area. Had dinner in the restaurant in the evening, the service and the food was first class. Have visited many times before but i think that the hotel and the personal has improved. Special mention to Ollie who went above and beyond with service and the lady on reception with glasses ( i apologise I've forgotten the lady's name) who was so helpful with everything. Will be back again soon.

Thank you to all who made my birthday special.

The food was okay, steak was dry and i asked it rare but got medium well done, but breakfast was delicious, lots of choice.

Room was very clean and had new carpet. Bed was so comfy and slept so well.

Bathroom was clean and water was very hot!

Used the pool and that was nice

Reception, bar and cleaning staff were professional and lovely, although for the valentines dinner we waited a long time for the bill as they were setting up for breakfast and not looking after the restaurant,
but got there in the end (40 min wait).

Lovely location right next to Cromer and Sheringham.

A warm and friendly experience was what I took away from my stay. The Links is a sprawling mass of rooms and facilities. Some areas are becoming dated but that is part of its charm. The room was comfortable and warm and provided a reasonable amount of space. We didn't really experience the dining room apart from breakfast which was excellent. The staff were helpful and very friendly which made us feel at ease and at home.
