We have used this Argos at Cromer many times in the last 6 weeks while we have been setting up a holiday home. The staff are always polite, friendly and very efficient. Brilliant service!

Had to nip in here to grab an HDMI cable while I was on holiday and it was super smooth. Order on the kiosks, had the cable in my hand within a minute. Quite a big and airy Argos for such a small town too, so it wouldn't be unpleasant to wait here a little while at all.

Handy local branch on the edge of town. Car park is not that big and is shared by four businesses. Staff are polite and helpful. They're not pushing to get a sale, just there when you need them. Quick pick up time. Well impressed with this store. 👍👍

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the people who worked at the cromer branch this evening!
My daughter had a raging temperature and is unwell and I needed some ear caps to go on her thermometer. (Without them the thermometer doesn’t work)! I thought the time was 5.30pm (it was actually 17.59pm)!! when I approached the door at 6pm the doors were shut. The staff member who was working came and opened the door for me and allowed me to get my thermometer accessories!! (I had ordered them online before)

Generally the staff are friendly, stock is quite hit and miss and I'm often surprised when they don't have the newer stock while other branches like Norwich and North Walsham do.

The manager on the other hand is altogether another matter. On the few occasions I've spoken with him directly, or seen him talking with others I've been less than impressed.

His disposition is unfriendly and gives off the impression he just can't be bothered to be there.

Personally I won't be shopping there anymore after being refused a sale on a PEGI 16 game - I'm a 32 year old male, worn out by too many hours spent working and parenting - and I've not been ID'd for anything in the last 8~ years. (On this one occasion I'd come out with only my phone).

I had shopped in here constantly, consciously choosing to support brick and mortar - and purchased PEGI 18 games consistently from this branch without ID. The majority of the staff know me in there.

Not even so much as a "we can hold it for you if you want to get your ID" or "I'm sorry we just can't".

I know that just one person may not seem like a significant number in their profit margin, but pretty much all of my "disposable" income goes here, especially on stuff for my kid, birthdays, gifts, and household things.

If the manager can't even be bothered to treat customers like they're not just a massive inconvenience to him then there's really nothing more for me at this chain.

Appalling service. Purchased 2 item. When I got home one of the items had no contents and the other had already been opened and was more than likely a returned item. When I returned the next day I was offered a refund as they only had one of the items in store. My issue is that the refund had to go back on my card as this was how I had purchased the goods. As this is 3 days before Xmas and the refund can take up to 10 days this means that 2 members of my family will not receive a gift from me. This is an issue on argos's part not mine, so I would expect them to do their utmost to rectify the situation. They did not even offer to order in from another store and replace the items. Disgusting customer service and I shall be advising anyone who will listen about my wonderful experience shopping with argos! If I could rate a zero I would!
