Absolutely faultless from the first consultation to surgery. I stayed overnight and the aftercare from everyone was phenomenal. My consultant surgeon was Mr Chendrimada Madhu and my procedure was a Colpocleisis (total vagina closure) due to a vault prolapse. Mr Madhu is the best consultant in gynaecology and urogynaecology and I recommend him to any woman who has similar problems that I had. I chose to have spinal anaesthetic and was awake for the whole procedure and if a procedure ever arose again, I would choose that over general anaesthetic any day! My anaesthetist was soooooooo very friendly, put me at ease and even played ‘Take That’ greatest hits from her mobile phone - how can you ever fault the service! The food was better than some pub restaurants. My surgery was Friday 4pm on 17 January 2025 and I am pain free 2 days later! Recommended unreservedly!

Wonderful place!! My 9 year old daughter had a tonsillectomy in August and we had the best experience! The doctor was a bit late but all the nurses were so kind and even the cleaner Maria was so kind.

Pr-op, operation, the stay overnight and even the follow up were all a very pleasant experience.

I also must mention the food!!! I literally still think about the meal I had and I think about it often 🤣🤣 I am not even joking but it was probably one of the best meals I’ve had and rivals restaurants I’ve been to 🤣

Excellent experience during all visits to the hospital. Facilities are spacious and clean. The rooms for patients staying overnight are comfortable and spotless.

Nursing staff, anaesthetist team and surgeons have all been outstanding. Very friendly towards and patients and visitors.

Pretty much no limits on visitor hours - visitors can also order meals (will have to pay of course).

Lots of parking but ensure you arrive 15 minutes early for appointments as finding a spot is always tricky (you might just have to hover around until somebody leaves).

I'm so happy with the care and attention provided by the professionals working at Spire Bristol Hospital. I just came back from having a minor operation with DR. DANIEL TITCOMB; I honestly have no enough words to praise him; he was kind, caring and extremely professional. I knew I was in good hands. My nurse was Paul, a lovely young man from The Philippines; super attentive, explained every single step and guide me through it. I was nervous at first but Paul knew how to put my worries at easy. Thank you to the amazing staff.

Just had my 8 week review after a full knee replacement with Sven Putnis, he has given me my life back, I strongly recommend Sven he has a positive attitude and is very knowledgeable and understands your situation, he is a credit to the Spire Hospital.

Imaging cancelled our appointment as we drove into the car park due to the ‘correct consultant’ not being available that day. We had booked this appointment 4 weeks before and double clarified that we needed to be seen by someone who could scan under 18 years old. Now absolutely no answer on the phone from the imaging department. Think it’s best I find a different hospital.

3 minute private consultation with an uninterested Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon via AXA PPP private health care. - So, basically he gets the £300 consultancy fee for nothing.

The consultation actually lasted no more than 3 minutes when he said someone would be in touch in a week to arrange a scan that would happen around a week later or so, then I'd have to book another appointment with him (so months) to discuss my frozen shoulder.

At least he took the time to be snide to my wife when she enquired if we could have an MRI scan done today and he replied in a sarcastic voice that it would be great if he had one in his office.

Hundreds of pounds for nothing. This is no better in any way than the NHS.

I had a first class experience at Spire Bristol. I had a total hysterectomy at the hospital with brilliant surgeon Mr Amit Patel. My surgery went very well, which I am grateful to Mr Patel for 🙏.
All the staff from theatre to ward nurses to catering and hospitality were amazing, super attentive and kind.
I have had several visits to Spire Bristol and I must say I only ever have had positive experiences.
A big thank you to everyone for their care and attention, most grateful.
