Following my previous review I have now undergone my operation. I have nothing but admiration for the staff. From admissions to theatre to ward I received first class treatment. I received apologies from staff for the mistake with my previous operation. I have been given a comprehensive home care plan and two future follow up appointments. Thank you all for the care you gave me.

Hopeless and helpless. We now have to complete an online form only to get a response saying they can’t help you. At the very least you could offer alternative suggestions on how to get support instead of expecting people to just wait forever. This is the most frustrating GP I have ever been with.

Appalling the entire practise needs to be shut down, the amount of medical negligence I have experienced at this surgery is unbelievable!
Staff are rude doctors don't give a crap.
4 years I've been waiting to get a diagnosis for my on going conditions.

The first example of medical negligence was in the year 2020 i had pain in my spine like never before.....couldn't even see a doctor i got a phone call, they did nothing but give me naproxen and i was left on my own with it, I'd not been able to stand or walk for weeks.....ended up going to the emergency room and got diagnosed with cauda equina syndrome which is extremely rare and serious condition that causes damage to all nerves in the legs bladder and bowels. I had emergency MRI which showed a disc so far slipped that it was compressing every nerve below my waist, I had to have emergency surgery to save my legs as I was about to become paralysed! I've struggled 4 years since with pain in my spine and I now need further surgery to my bladder because emersons green surgery failed to take me seriously.
This is where things get significantly worse
I now have
× Migranes almost daily with vomitting
×spasms and tremors throughout my entire body including my head
×mobility issues
×constant fatigue ( in bed almost 24/7)
×medical trauma from the doctors at this practise
×CPTSD from the amount of stress and depression I have had to endure dealing with these idiots
× urinary incontinence which is the result of the undiagnosed cauda equina syndrome
× constant illness
×visual problems
×bowel problems
×problems with grip and dropping things
×significantly weaker right side then left

The surgery have put through a refferal to the Muskosketal team 3 times!!! I have not been since once and I've been waiting 3 years for help whilst my Condition deteriorates.
I have suspected auto immune which I've been getting appointments for the past few years about these issues and I have never got any help! Always feel worse leaving the doctors then I did when I entered.

This will be going further through the PALS team

Please if your health is the upmost important to you please register with another surgery nobody should have to suffer medical negligence multiple times from the same practise!

Also they say there is never any appointments but the entire building is empty constantly I sat in the waiting room half an hour on my own, not one person was called in and not one person came out! And the whole waiting room was empty!

Where are these appointments going?

One word to sum up this surgery is

ABYSMAL!

Will be registering with another doctors surgery i vow to never step foot in this torture chamber ever again mark my words!

Reading all the 3 star and below comments..and they are pretty valid !

Ain't been to GP in 4 or 5 years, realised my practice was merged into these guys..

Wait to speak to someone is always 30+, the call back system doesn't work.

They gave me an appointment 3 weeks away, told them can you put me into the system to remind me as I was driving.

Now I have been trying to ring up reception to confirm when it was!

Reception line goes to VM and no there way to just speak to someone quickly!

Or wait in the booking queue which is 22 today.

Absolutely appalling surgery - phone wait times are horrendous despite a new phone system and it’s absolutely impossible to get an appointment to see a GP and they couldn’t care less. Review reflected on the recent survey sent through

Just went for a blood test and got treated like something you'd find on someone's shoe. I was 6 minutes late and the receptionist said it was fine and told me to take a seat. The nurse came out and said 'It says Victoria's here but she's not here' without even calling out. Then proceeded to tell me off, she was ever so moody - saying that I was incredibly late and that I shouldn't have been told I can still be seen. I had to tell the nurse to please stop being rude and that I'd got stuck in traffic coming from work. I nearly told her not to even bother.

The way the receptionist spoke to people ahead of me was disgusting as well - no manners at all.

This isn't the first time that I've had problems here. The staff all need training on customer service, that's for sure. No wonder staff at GP surgeries get a bad name.

Had a Bupa form completed with question marks as the doctors couldnt be bothered to take there time to review the specifics of my claim... My Bupa claim has now been rejected due to the lack of time and specifics given on the form ... If the doctors / NHS could treat you in the first place.. private medical care wouldnt be needed!

Please can the receptionist who dealt with my enquiry today reconsider her approach when addressing patients . You never know what’s going on in people’s life’s. A little more care and empathy wouldn’t go amiss. Furthermore not looking up from your computer when dealing with someone is very rude . There was absolutely no warmth or nicety shown today . I’ve been a patient since the surgery opened with Dr Ali. He would be horrified at this ‘transactional behaviour’’ , which I have now experienced on many occasions . Not impressed and looking into changing.
