I have been a patient for many many years at this dental surgery so over the years I have been seen by several different teams of dental professionals and frontline staff on reception. I have a history of dental problems over the years like many of us older patients and can say with absolute honesty and confidence that this surgery has never let me down in its care and consideration for my health and wellbeing. I feel safe under their care. The staff have always been very professional and respectful and have been very accommodating to my health issues. I cannot recommend this surgery and the staff high enough. They go above and beyond to care for the patients and I feel are very invested in the care they provide. I am very grateful to be under the care of a professional knowledgeable team. I used to have a fear of dentists having grown up in a sweetshop business and not having the best dental care available back then. Now I actually look forward to going knowing I am in good hands.

This is an edited review of one I posted 3 years ago which was not professional and had spelling errors, which now may have changed management and staff since this happened.

But the 1st time going there was awful the dentist I saw was a Caucasian European Middle-aged lady (wish I had taken down her name) who got so angry over the little mistake of accidentally ticking the wrong thing to say what my exemption is. But also my confidence at the time and having Autism affected my social skills which could have fuelled her anger.

She basically told me to get my parents to come down for them to talk to me and told the poor assistant to “handle it because I can’t” or on the lines referring to me.

For a person to be treated like that and not knowing what they have been or going through is so dangerous you could be talking to someone who is suicidal.

I have seen newer reviews praising the practice which hopefully is a good sign.

I had some treatments there recently. Staff are caring and professional.
Dr.Abrar and Amina were so professional and friendly. Staff and management trying their best to run the NHS service . Respect and job well done!

This was the best hygenist experience I have ever had. He took the time to introduce himself and explain everything and asked if I had any worries or issues. The communication was excellent. He was careful during my clean and polish and made sure I was ok at all times. He gave time at the end to ask questions and gave me good specific advice.

I've been coming to this practice for years now and I've never had any issues with getting an appointment. My current dentist is very polite and friendly and always checks with me to see if I have any concerns or worries. He's very reassuring. All of the staff at the practice are also very helpful and kind.

Hi I went in for an NHS checkup and was surprised as to how kind and caring the staff were. They even sorted out a black mark I've had on my front tooth for years which really affected my confidence and now I can smile confidently again.

The surgery has the best reception staff but the worst manageress I have ever encountered. She has no consideration for people's privacy, she is aggressive, unpolite and lacks professionalism. When I complained to my dentist he did not apologise, comment or offer to invistigate. Extremely distressing conduct.

The location of the practice on a main busy road means it is hard to find a parking space, especially for disabled people who can't park in the nearby streets and walk because all parking slots are occupied on both sides. I wish the council can mark at least one space for blue badge holders on the main street in front of the surgery.
It is easy to contact the surgery by email and get a response within a day or two.
A new female dentist has joined the practice lately. She extracted one of my teeth. She was very good, fast and reassuring. She even offered me a print out of instructions about caring for the tooth area after extraction. It was great to see a woman joining the team of all male dentists. The new hygienist as well was good. Me and my daughter underwent his service.

I’ve been with this practice for over half a decade and have always had excellent service from them. They give really good advice and treatments and have really friendly staff. Amazing results from my recent hygienist appointment too!

My partner has historically had a lot of anxiety about the dentist but always says how understanding and reassuring her check-ups and appointments have been at this practice.
