My clinic. Located so close to where I live that I could walk there in slippers. And that’s the biggest advantage. Waiting for a doctor’s appointment is usually about a week, so compared to other clinics, it’s probably not too bad. It’s worse when it comes to waiting for procedures, referrals, etc., but that’s no fault of the clinic. Clean, nice, and friendly staff who treat patients with seriousness and understanding. The doctors themselves are really kind people you can have an honest conversation with, without feeling like they aren’t listening.

I felt the need to leave a positive review today, after having my initial consult for the first time with Dr Van Marle, who I had been recommended to by a friend. I found her to be extremely attentive, caring and understanding. She took the time needed whilst I was in extreme pain to undergo the physical exam she needed to perform, and made clear if at any point its getting to painful to let her know to stop. She also made suggestions surrounding my mental health, but was onboard with the fact that I'm already doing everything possible to assist myself with that so I'd like to focus on solving the serious physical symptoms I've been dealing with and left without help for now for quite some time by both the hospital and my previous GP. The right referral was put in and under urgent due to the serious declining nature of my health condition, and for that I couldn't be more thankful as it's finally been a stepping stone in regaining some amount of trust back within the NHS after the poor experiences I've had so far.

Although I was there for Podiatry the staff at the centre were very friendly and helpful. The podiatry ladies were excellent and although under pressure by time did not rush anything and gave amazing treatment.

The worst GP I have ever met in England. They have no respect for patients. They make us wait on the phone line for over 2 hours to try to make an appointment. When they answer, they direct us to the pharmacy, which does nothing. And as if waiting on the line wasn't enough, they also hung up on us. Disrespectful and abusive. There are wonderful doctors and nurses, but the first contact with reception is always very difficult and disappointing. There are only 2 docile and kind receptionists. The others should be fired.

NHS are under pressure. But I don't expect to receive bad communication, bad treatment. Excuses my way from NHS. I don't go for excuses or apologies or alabies of failing conduct. I go about my health end up with double the stress. Some attitude from staff is just not on. You are humans with qualifications that Don't justify your actions, failings. No wonder a poster is up about shouting at staff. Well. Communication. Attitude from some staff. Its called provoked when clients are not well. Poor performance provoking a clients health. Think carefully. Delays on the system. Extra time, cost. No wonder the NHS is struggling fund wise. Even a doctor A & E .Bristol made a allegation to me. I said. Really, are you sure. He replied. I think so. Over words. If this is a qualified doctor. You got to be kidding. " I think so. 111 on top. Consider your conduct poor. Try admitting your conduct widely talked about. Staff, not all. Like these cause the best to leave the NHS. I suggest NHS. You seriously look into hierarchy, idol chit chat. Sort your staffing out. Get these with mental health issues like the doctor and others sorted. Removed. They cost the NHS a massive fortune with complacent attitude for caring.

Maybe if the surgery employed a second call handler patients would be able to get through on the phone to book an appointment....this way the surgery wouldn't feel the need to send snotty text messages informing the patients that their medication reviews were overdue. Just a thought!.
PS, the receptionists and nurses do a sterling job with what appears to be limited or no back up whatsoever from behind the scenes, maybe their salaries should be brought into line with the surgeries management!.
