Every experience I have had has been good. All the staff have all been very professional and kind. The online booking service for non urgent situations is great and convenient, I have always been seen when I really need to and had appropriate follow ups. Getting a sick note was easy and stress free. Even though you have to wait a while on the phone (like all GP services) everyone on the phone trys their best to give you highest level of care possible.

Had an emergency appointment here, booked through 111. When I arrived, I was told I needed to pay cash since the card machine was broken, apparently we were meant to be told this when given the appointment but was explicitly told by 111 to bring just a card. Not a huge issue, went down the street to a cash point (which charged £1.75!) and back to the dentist. Once I filled in my form and paid, the treatment was very good. James was incredibly sympathetic and helpful in explaining my situation and options going forward. Antibiotics prescription given, he even directed me towards the nearest pharmacy. The nurse Dot working with him was also great.

Absolutely shocking service and admin from their reception team. A real shame considering the Drs I have spoken to there have generally been fairly good. Pointless when it's impossible to get an appointment or even get through to the reception team. I've had several occasions where I wait to get through the queue just to be immediately hung up on and sent to the back of the queue.

I have been with Charlotte Keel Medical Practice for 35 years. I have found all the staff really professional and caring. They are under unbelievable pressure now, and doing their best to prioritise who they see and when. I have found it increasingly difficult to get an appointment, but the fault is lack of government funding, not the hard-working dedicated staff.

Charlotte Keel Medical Practice is simply not fit for purpose. It takes days for them to respond to e-consults, and then appointments will be 1-2 weeks following the e-consult. According to NHS Website information, my symptoms require an urgent GP appointment but have not been treated as such by the practice. Patients are forced to have a telephone consultation before face to face even when it is clear that an examination is needed, further delaying treatment. I work full time, so being told you'll get a random phone call in a 10 hour window is ridiculous - I can't make myself available all day when I'm working. They also overuse supporting medical staff such as Paramedics for conditions where it is not appropriate, and a real doctor is needed. I've tried to phone today as their response times for my problem has been glacially slow and I'm getting more and more ill. All I got from the 'care coordination team' was basically computer says no. The strategy here is clearly to manage workload by ensuring that all their patients pass away. If you live in the area I would recommend registering with an alternative practice.

I have wasted hours waiting for my call to be answered, once it goes over the hour mark it gets cut off!
Finally got to through to staff and she defends the system saying that it's not the system and she's never heard anyone say that before, yet I've experienced it, my family have, my friends have and people who have left reviews have!
The staff member said its not the system it's because they have over 20,000 patients, so what does that mean if I've been waiting for over an hour someone else calls in and I get cut off?!
The partners of this surgery need to stop being greedy and stop accepting new patients if you can't handle your 20,000+ patients!
I've just uploaded a screenshot showing that this GP surgery are accepting new patients. Really?!!

I Wouldn't even give this Gp practice one star if I could help it. The service is absolutely terrible . My dad has severe diabetes his levels have been over 22 has been suffering from chest pain. numbness in his legs, and contsant dizziness. He urgently needs care from his GP, but it's been over a week now, and we STILL can't get an appointment.

We've been calling from last 4 days straight , spending HOURS on hold just for the call to drop . Today the phone line didn't even recognize the number. My dad even went into the practice in person, but they just turned him away and told him to call- which of course , has been impossible .

This is absolutely unacceptable, especially when dealing with a vulnerable elderly person. The practice doesn't care at all about patient well-being or urgency. They've shown zero regard for my dad's serious health issues. Honestly, it's shocking that a medical practice can be this bad , and they don't deserve any patients at all.

Awful awful practice. I keep applying for an appointment via an online form, the appointment gets scheduled but I never receive the call. Happened three times already and I have not received medical help I need for over three months now.
