From entering the hospital everyone from the cleaners, reception, catering, nurses, surgical staff and the consultants were wonderful. Every part of the surgery was explained, any concerns were sympathetically addressed and I was left feeling reassured. I was worried about having sedation as a previous time in the NHS I was fully aware of the procedure and responded poorly midway through, this time the anaesthetist was very understanding and ensured I was comfortable throughout. This was my second surgery here and both were great, I would most definitely recommend the hospital to anyone needing their skills.

I had a CT scan there yesterday which was performed by a nice lady named Sophia. What made her so special was that she was extremely well spoken which is a blessing to me as I am hard of hearing. Hearing aids can only do so much and also amplify background noises so her enunciation was greatly appreciated. The scan took moments and I was on my way home before I knew it. Thank you.

So far very disappointed. After waiting eight months for my operation it was cancelled with just over a weeks notice with no explanation. Things happen in life for sure, but the receptionist had no idea when it might be rebooked or even a date when they might be able to give me an update. Had expected far better communication or perhaps a manager to offer an explanation? I now wait in pain for someone to give me an answer.

The care, professionalism and kindness that I received at Sulis Hospital recently as an NHS patient for my hip replacement surgery was outstanding. The staff were all exceptional and spent time to reassure me and respond to any concerns that I had. Thank you Dr Rebecca Leslie, anaesthetist, for acknowledging my anxiety levels and taking such great care of both my physical and emotional wellbeing.
Nursing staff were always immediately at hand and I never felt at any time that anyone was too busy to look after me.
Hospitality was excellent for recovery with beautifully presented food and a range of iced drinks. Thank you to my surgeon Mr El-Deen and all your team, I am making a great recovery

Went in for an operation yesterday afternoon and I’m already back home after an overnight stay. The care from everyone there is outstanding. I have NEVER felt so cared for. I’d read on the reviews that the cheese and tomato sandwiches were lovely and I can definitely confirm this. I’ve come here as an NHS patient and although I’ve read a lot of reviews complaining that they didn’t receive the care the private patients did. I can honestly say this wasn’t the case for me. Having my own room overnight was lovely. Food was great, location is great. Everything there is beautiful. Sulis will be my first choice in future, I will find a way to pay it will most definitely be worth it. Thank you.
