First visit to see Michael over a month ago with painful sciatica on left side in a lot of pain. He put me at ease and we spoke in detail about my ailment in which he took detailed notes and examination of inflamed area. He then carried out a number of hands on treatment followed by showing me exercises I needed to do at home together with cold pack. I have had a few visits during past few weeks and although I still have a way to go I can see light at end of tunnel. I follow Michaels treatment fully which goes a long way to healing my sciatica. I cannot recommend Clark’s osteopathic clinic enough!
I called them as a desperate measure before going to A&E and it was the best thing I could have done. From the moment of phoning right through to every treatment I’ve had the team have been so helpful, kind and caring.
My visit was on time. There was no waiting around which was lovely.
Michael who treated me has such a welcoming presence and was calming, reassuring and knowledgable. He is always happy to explain everything in simple details to me. Going through why the things he says are important and the science behind it all which helps me understand.

Since seeing Michael my original symptoms have completely gone and I feel better than before !
I didnt realise how uncomfortable I was on the daily basis due to poor posture and other things over the years.
I’ve continued with my visits biweekly and I cannot explain the difference it has made to my overall health.
I am sleeping better, having less headaches, I am not aching when I wake up anymore. I have had less general aches and pains also.

Looking forward to continuing this journey to a better me and so grateful for Clark’s helping me do so.

In short, for years I experienced progressively worsening morning pins and needles in my left hand contributed to age and sleep positions. Recently I developed extreme numbness, pins and needles within my left forearm and a pain within my left shoulder. My GP ruled out heart problems suggesting pain killers and rest to return after a week if symptoms worsened.

The pain was excruciating 24/7 , now even mobility was increasingly painful as the shock wave from my feet shot up my back and shoulder. I was now on extremely high dosage of two pain killers and a return to the GP resulted in more pain killers, amitriptyline, anti emetics, exercise, stretch, hand out and come back in a week. It was unbearable.

My wife had attended Michael's facility in the past and recommended I go.

I met with Michael we spoke, not just in regards my shoulder, but my life style, history, diet everything and I mean everything. Michael examined me having me walk, bend, pick things up, differing sensations.

The examination, talk etc lasted 30 minutes. Michael was unbelievably understanding and caring, I actually felt my well being was everything. Michaels professionalism is second to none.

A diagnosis and treatment plan was made. Massage and exercises for me to complete were given. I felt I mattered and away I went.

I returned a week later having completed my side of the treatment plan. The pain in my shoulder, from 10/10 intensity was now 2/10 and I was off the many tablets I was talking.

At this visit further physical and neurological assessment was made along with comprehensive explanation of what had, is and likely to occur.

I received an update treatment plan and away I went. Within two days of this visit I was totally pain free and the pins and needles nearly all but gone.

I this week attended the practice for the third time. Michael was as considerate as always. I'm pain and pins and needles free.

I intend to continue attending the practice, though my initial problem has resolved, for future wellness instruction and guidance.

Michael is a genius, an absolute professional and master of his trade. I cannot thank him, nore recommend him highly enough.

If you're in pain, you've everything to gain, in visiting the practice, I'm living proof and I'm going again.
