This is shocking service from this surgery. They don’t listen when you ring them have no empathy. It should be shut down. All they think about is money not people anymore. Stopped my medication without telling me. Was told I needed a review. Rang for a review what a waste of time. The review I had was not a review me telling them I needed my medication that I have been on for 30 years. I can say no more just too many patients NHS is broken as we all know .

Surgery phone lines are appalling and staff seem stressed and rude BUT Dr Kyle the best doctor I’ve seen In years it feels like I’ve won the jackpot when I have him for my appointment (if I get one) So caring and makes you feel better just by talking to him and not feeling rushed to be pushed out the door. Very knowledgeable will always give you good advice and ensures that you understand your issues, I’ve seen him about 5 times now and as always been the same. This is how all Doctors should be and could easily learn a lot from this very caring patient and understanding man. Wish there was more of him out there.

it is impossible to get an appointment. You call at 8am and the say all their lines are full so you can't even speak to a human being. Me and my kids are registered here for over 5 years and none of us have ever seen a Doctor not once. The appointment system is not fit for purpose.

It may as well shut down as it’s not fit for purpose

The staff are overwhelmed it is overwhelmed and can’t meet the health needs of an increase in population in the duston area and in a wealthy area all new housing starts at £400000 plus high for Northampton

Personal experience of being unable to speak to a clinician for 2 weeks had to go to nhs 111 and a and e in an ambulance this seems to be the default position of the surgery let nhs 111 pick up the mess that we just can’t deal with yet the GP is being paid £175000 a year for a job the can’t perform in - it needs to close and be radically replaced

It’s

It is almost impossible to get an appointment. They are clearly taking on too many patients and are overloaded. Why would a GP Surgery take on so many patients to the point that you cannot get appointments?

Poorly managed, understaffed and when you see how they are paid, NHS England is responsible for paying GP Practices for their services. GP practices are paid on the basis of the number of patients on their list. This is obtained from the registered patient list held by NHS Digital on behalf of NHS England.

So overload your books, get paid, but patients get terrible service, and this centre is badly managed from the patients ability to be seen.

This review is no reflection on the doctors at the surgery. I am sure they are good. But you can't get an appointment to see them!

Just dreadful trying to get through to telephone system. I completely despair. Can’t even begin to describe my frustration! It increases my blood pressure I’m sure.. as I get so annoyed that no one can take a call. I’ve tried over and over to get through all the times suggested and in between! This surgery may as well be shut down if people cannot access it!

When will the sugery open, it's been a year and I'm finding that all my friends sugeries have been open for months! Can only call at 8am or 2pm, as receptionist is unavaliable in between those hours for some reason. Phone queues can be long and you can be kicked off. Then you have to explain your issue to the receptionist for them to get a doctor. I had a receptionist instead of getting the doctor to ring me she was birdy in the middle and was passing my message to the doctor on the other phone.
Not to mention a patience issue is completely non of the receptionists business!
You used to be able to just book a doctor online, why can't we have this but to have a phone appointment? And the Livi app which I have used twice has got me two doctors who weren't even from the surgury! This surgery used to be the best. To say it's disappointing is an understatement.

Just so everyone now knows you can't even walk in and get an appointment now, you have to call at 8am or 2pm where you wait 50th in a queue and then get cut off as all appointments are allocated, then an automated voices tells you to call 111. Trying to get an appointment for out little one no luck so end up at A&E. 111 is great when used in past but not sure why they have to get the call to get to see a doctor to call us back, it's like the surgery uses 111 to screen calls. 20 plus thousand patients and not enough doctors
