We have loved this place for a long time. We decided to have our wedding reception here. I could not have chosen anywhere more perfect for us. The service was amazing, very attentive staff excellent food and over all a very efficient service. The staff and management really helped make our day run smoothly. The accommodation and facilities was wonderful. We will be staying there again and be making frequent visits as usual. We have just returned from an amazing weekend at Roade House celebrating my Sister’s 40th birthday. Paul and Maxine put together a tailor made package for us which included yoga, meals, over night stay and breakfast. Like a mini retreat! Nothing was too much trouble and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable- 4 of us sharing a large room and there was plenty of space. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Surrounding area was very quiet, no noise from other rooms etc. Maxine’s yoga classes were of course a highlight and breakfast was very tasty. |The hotel and the cafe were very busy off the back of Four in a Bed however nothing was too much trouble.

Very underrated hotel just off junction 15 of M1 in a lovely Northamptonshire village. Bedrooms very clean and tidy with all usual facilities. Tastefully decorated. Fabulous yoga studio. Lovely cafe /restaurant which also serves vegan and gluten free dishes. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

Our elderly relations visited from the USA. For various reasons this was to be their last trip to England and more specifically Northampton. They requested we book a hotel that had a personal touch rather than a large soulless hotel. We looked around the area and settled upon The Roade House Hotel. After a two week stay I'm so glad we did. This is a lovely hotel with decent rooms and is run by a lovely couple. All the staff were so friendly and extremely helpful towards our relations. They made them feel very welcome and at home and went out of their way to help with any requests they had. The cafe is very nice and served great food at decent prices and again the staff were so helpful. At the end of their stay our relations said this hotel was just what they wanted and went a long way to making their last trip to the UK so special. We would thoroughly recommend The Roade House hotel as a lovely place to stay at very competitive rates.

We had family members visiting us in the village last night so we booked The Roade House as living in the village we quite often pop into the cafe - with no complaints. After seeing it on four in a bed we suggested they stay there rather than other hotels in Northampton they have previously stayed at. Room was lovely size and clean. Unfortunately though , they checked out this morning before 7.30am and came to ours to use our shower/bath as they have had no hot water/low pressure water since checkin in - the toilet was also flushing on low pressure and ‘something’ came up from the drains which was impossible to flush back down from a previous guest.

I have stayed here three times now when on business in Northampton. I have always found it a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The owners and staff are always very friendly and welcoming and the rooms are extremely good value. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area, especially if they enjoy a hearty breakfast.

The Roade House Hotel recently helped us celebrate our wedding in style! Providing a romantic backdrop for a warm and cosy evening meal and entertainment. The day ran smoothly and exceeded our expectations thanks to the efforts of all members of staff involved on the day, making family and friends welcome. |A good nights sleep was had by all in the immaculately presentend bedrooms and a much needed tasty breakfast greatly recieved the following morning by our large party of guests. |A gem of a place, Roade are lucky to have!

Had a virgin experience gift for my retirement. Took my yoga teacher. Maxine wasn't aware. My yoga teacher was very impressed with her teaching practice. Maxine covered everything we asked for. The afternoon tea was plentiful, needed a doggy bag as too much. Thank you Maxine, Paul and Steven.
