Amazing and wonderful facility. Both myself and my wife have recently had cataract surgery on both our eyes. The whole processes from start to finish have been exemplary, with both the amazingly patient consultant together with his support staff being nothing other than fully supportive, caring and professional. In my wife’s case, who was acutely short sighted- minus 19, the outcome has been miraculous. Both of us are virtually specs free for the first time in over 70 years. Well done Newmedica Nottingham and thank you so much for the life changing gifts. Words will never be enough to express our gratitude.

I was referred to Newmedica Nottingham by my optician who said excellent things about this clinic, which were 100% true.

The process was very efficient and I had an initial assessment within a week with the operation a few days later. I was given a booklet which provided enough detail for me to understand what the procedure would be. From the initial contact by phone to my dealings with the people in the clinic I was treated very professionally and with lots of respect and care. After my cataract operation I was contacted the next day to check everything was OK. I was advised that I could use the emergency number at any time if needed. I felt that everyone who dealt with me put me at the centre of their role and treated me as a real person rather than a number. I have now been discharged for one eye as I had both of my eyes done.

The clinic is in a modern building which is comfortable and run efficiently staffed by people who are there to help. It’s an impressive set up and I highly recommend them. They’re all amazing!

In addition to everything else, the staff upstairs are super friendly and welcoming.

The waiting room is clean fresh and welcoming for visitors who are waiting for patients.
After care is excellent, checking in next day and also providing easy access to any questions etc
Decent size car park with a few charging points too.

Attended Newmedica for my husband to have a cataract operation in December 2024. The staff are wonderful and very caring. They explain everything to you so there is no need to worry. They will even hold your hand if you are especially nervous. Nothing is too much trouble. The clinic itself is clean and the waiting room comfortable and everything has been thought of.
