When I first joined the surgery when it was Church Walk. The service was exceptional. Now it's appalling. I can't even get through on the phone let alone get an appointment. My repeat prescriptions are a mess every month and I have genuinely had enough of it.

My 88 year old mother recently developed a UTI. The whole team at the surgery from the extremely helpful secretaries, kind and efficient nurses and excellent doctors made sure my mother got treated very quickly. The doctor made a home visit when my mother became to ill to get to the surgery and eventually fast tracked her to the acute medical unit at QMC to avoid A&E.
Our family can't thank them all enough for their help during this very difficult time.

Had an appointment this morning at 8.30am, came out and went to the desk to request a doctors call back on another matter. The doctor rang me at 9:00am and I have got an appointment at 1pm today to see the doctor. Excellent service. Also the function to be able to send photos in advance is very good

Awful doctors, my grandma and myself have been dismissed from the receptionist millions of times… receptionist claim theres no doctors left to ring you at half 8 in the morning, doesnt make sense… putting in a complaint. Ive moved myself to newthorpe doctors, doing the same for my grandma now.

When we first moved to Eastwood, this was a brilliant surgery to attend. However, over the last few months, it's almost impossible to speak to someone nevermind get an appointment. When I have spoken to someone I've been told to either to to the urgent care centre (I've already been twice) or to go to A&E for simple antibiotics for an ear infection. Also been told to use the NHS app to book an appointment but when I go on, it has no appointments for over 16 weeks with any doctor and advises to call the surgery! Very disappointed!

My wife and I have been patients of The Eastwood Primary Care Centre for 30 years and I must say that the service and care given over that time has always been second to none. Doctors, nurses and receptionists have always been efficient, friendly, informative and professional. Where prompt attention or testing and external referrals have been necessary these have been actioned quickly. We cannot praise the Practice highly enough.

Had a horrific few months, flound lump, loss of blood, loss of weight, constant vomitting. One phone call, one consultation, couple of weeks of tests and nearly out the other side. But the speed, level of commitment and excellence from all the staff was and always has been excellent. Dr Scullard is particularly outstanding and hes been helping me and my family through some awful times for the past decade or more. Too many people want to complain, not enough want to say thank you for making their lives better or easier. Dont complain about queuing on a phone call when its in the comfort of your home and not a waiting room full of sick people. It just shows how many sick patients they are trying to help. Thank them .
