A pleasant enough surgery, probably as overwhelmed as any other, but they seem pretty efficient most of the time. Remember to register your car registration at reception or you might get fined...

My 7 week old baby wasn't well. He was crying uncontrollably so I called the GP surgery and that was last Friday at 6.15pm. I was fobbed off by the first receptionist and then I called again soon after and was in the queue for 10mins to speak to reception. When I eventually got through, the second receptionist wasn't interested in helping me and kept saying it's coming up to 6.30pm our closing time. She asked me why did I wait until then to call if my son wasn't well. How dare she ! This was my second call and i have given them both full explanation. This is all happening with my son crying uncontrollably in the background in pain, which did not change her response. I informed her that I only wanted the doctor to call the pediatrician unit at the hospital to refer my son which they had done before and that would take 5mins. As we were entering the weekend I was very worried for my newborn. She wasn't interested and kept pushing back, kept saying they were closing. WOW she wasted 10mins during which she could have done something more positive. For 10mins she showed ZERO compassion and kept telling me to call 111 or go to A&E!!!! Through my persisting (she told me to stop shouting) she changed her mind and did ask the doctor to call me. Shocking!!!!! Disgusting behaviour. Not fit to work at the GP where people turn to for help. On top of that I then have the practice manager contact me on Monday asking me if I would be interested in being referred to their social service which I later find out is a non medicated support, emotional support that's got nothing to do with my newborn's health. So the receptionist and the practice manager figured I needed emotional help as opposed to receptionist support when my child is unwell!!!! Shameful! Hope they read this and hang their heads in shame! Both should go because they have no compassion, through working at the GP for years I imagine they have become desensitised, lacking humanity and compassion. Shame on you!!!

Has been my mother's surgery for the last 6 years since moving into independent living accommodation. Have nothing but praise for the doctors, nursing and the reception team. Acting as contact point and mobile communication very good. Regular 6monthly blood checks for the drugs annual reviews. Very good never failed to get an appointment or discussion of issues even through Covid. If I lived near would join it. Thank you

My experience of Danes Camp surgery has been very positive. Online triage form system is great with a doctor consultation the next day. Clinical staff are compassionate and reception staff are polite and happy to help. I’m really impressed as I know they must be stretched but still delivering a good service. Well done Danes Camp Surgery.

Been referred to see them within 3 days... Its been 10 and nothing i do will an appointment. Calling for 3hrs straight won't get through, when I do... Call at 8am.

The practice has also lied to me. Their disgusting. File as many complaints as you can. The only way this will change will be if people speak up.

This really is the worst practice I’ve ever been to. Can’t book appointments in any decent amount of time, car park is tiny, doctors don’t really care about your health, and I was never advised to do a health checkup when joining. When I joined, they said that they couldn’t find any previous history for me, they also never sent me anything through the post, such as an online identity so I can book appointments through the web. The catchment area is tiny, they spent ages signing me up and then never told me o was signed up. They had a long waiting list, and said for months they weren’t taking on any new patients. Since I moved the GPS I am at now is so much better, light and day in comparison.
