I received a really good service at this surgery. Reception was polite, I was seen quickly and the nurse Ed Wiley gave me excellent advice. The prescribed meds worked well. Its a shame few people leave good reviews when they get good service.

It's a shame people only write reviews when they've had a bad experience, not when they've had a good one. Last year I went to the GP as soon as it opened for a concern, given a same day appointment and was seem promptly. Due to it being a concern with a lump I was called before I'd even got home to book me in with the cancer clinic. I had a bad reaction to either the anti biotics or infection and was seen promptly, given different anti biotics. Receptionist was lovely both times. Great service, there's parking and it's right next door to a pharmacy so I walked across to get my meds (that took longer than getting an appointment!)

Yesterday I used the NHS App to send a message to my GP about some symptoms I was concerned about. This morning I've been sent a link to book an appointment and I'll be able to see my GP in less than a week! I think calling and waiting in a queue is outdated and why people aren't able to get their appointments, there's only a couple of people who can answer the phone and they have to triage what is important and what isn't. They get such bad abuse for doing their job. I have nothing bad to say about this place, I've had good experiences and I'm very appreciative.

I've been with this surgery for over 20 years and I've got to say since covid it's completely lost all credibility. The reception team and the staff that work behind the scenes are rude and arrogant and when i tried to make a complaint about the way a certain staff member made me feel over a very delicate matter, they tried to turn it around on me and say it was my fault! Didnt matter that i was sobbing my eyes out on the call!
The only decent thing about the surgery are Dr Baldock Grimes and Dr Kay.

I made an appointment with the doctor for a consultation because I had high blood pressure. By appointment from 9:00. I waited an hour and then I went to the reception to ask what was happening and they told me to wait, meanwhile other people who were coming were called inside and I was still outside, waiting. After another hour, of course, I got up from my chair and went to the reception again and told them that I've been waiting for two hours, why don't they call me in too? I told them that I can't wait any longer and to cancel the appointment. Such a thing is not possible, it is unacceptable! Is there no one to take action in this clinic regarding these irregularities?

Would like to give an ZERO… NOT EVEN A STAR. Absolutely shambles. Get told to call 8am. Call on the dot at 8am and it gets straight to no que positions available. Call 50 times and still no position available. Call after 9 and get told no appointments available. It’s an absolute nightmare. Explain the situation to the Receptionist, they call it abuse … yet they abuse their positions. Then when they have nothing to say, they advise to call 111, wait all day for 111 and by they time they call the patient is in emergency fighting for life. This surgery is absolutely run down in service and health care. No emergency appointments available either. They all work together thinking it’s team work but and don’t care about patients because they actually don’t give a toss. SAME THING.. email a complaint.. yet the complaint goes to the manager who cares only about the staff. It’s not equity at all at this place. Manager doesn’t give a toss because she hears her team side story. Doctors don’t careless as it’s not their department. They take in too many people and they just can’t handle it… which is why EVERYONE has to deal with is incompetence
