I am so glad to move into this GP. Today is my first visit here and with doctor Hiranya . She is wonderful, very helpful people as well as the receptionist, I think her name is Egllie , not 100% sure but sounds like her name.They made the referral for me within 2 weeks but only few hours later the ENT fast track team call and give me the appointment straight away while in London I was waiting for months and they still mixed up and still on the waiting list, the service in here is totally different with the London, they are great. I hope all the doctors and people here will be the same!

Appointment at College Road on the 8th Nov for our 4month old baby. We understand we were 3 minutes late, pleading for the appointment which we were unable to attend as she would not notify the nurse. Seriously concerned about the receptionists mannerism towards patients especially a baby. Her sarcastic tones and unhelpful attitude with a raised smirk has left us hurt and disgusted. Been a patient for many years with a good experience but this one instance has let the practice down and I hope others have not fallen victim to her inhuman nature.

One of your staff named Heather was very impatient and abrupt with my wife. It’s appalling the way she was treated. Heather was huffing at her while she was talking, like it was too much trouble to be patient and kind. Extremely unprofessional, I heard the conversation as the call was on speaker phone. Does she think no one could hear her doing it? I think there are too many staff trying to force patients to reveal their symptoms. Another issue is patients do not phone their doctor to be grilled by unqualified non medical receptionists who then passes it onto a second and a third person who then decides if it warrants the doctors time!!! When a patient doesn’t want to tell the receptionists the issue they are asked over and over again. What ever happened to GDPR?
I do not recommend this surgery.

I have been left speechless by the outstanding treatment I have received today. I am a new patient at The Lighthouse and am able to say the practice is zinging with emotional literacy.
From the call taker, who recorded my symptoms this morning, to the two phone calls, staff could not have been kinder or more professional.
I was given a GP appointment for this morning and could not have asked for a more professional, clinically sound or kind doctor.

The practice is consistently very good at responding to patients' queries, in my experience. The reception staff are efficient and make contact when needed, even when they are very busy. The online patient referral system is excellent and you usually get a response within a few hours.

Fantastic practice. Our GP (Dr Caroe) is absolutely lovely and the practice is always ahead of the curve with new technology. Yes, of course you sometimes have to wait for routine appointments but the online system for communicating with the staff and making bookings is great.

I hope that the following feedback goes to Dr Getty, I want to thank him very much for seeing me as a patient whilst I lived in Eastbourne.

I feel he is the only doctor that has ever really listened and helped me. I moved back to London now, he was still supporting me over the phone once I'd moved and it went such a long way.

I haven't been a patient at the surgery for a long while but just had such a good experience, really appreciate it.
