Poor phone systems tried booking an appointment for my 2 1/2 year old as she's been so unsettled and crackling chest/cough attempted an appointment yesterday no answer. Tried today from 8am phone line times only to be 266 calls later getting through then being told there's no appointments and the excuse is they're busy. Kids should always have a chance to see someone. I was told at the chemist I need to go doctors as might need antibiotics for my daughter... so my only choice is ring 111 for another stab in the dark attempt at appointment or travel to town for drop in center. Even myself I have chest infection but put off me getting seen at the chance my daughter could. Think I need to find a better surgery.

Absolute joke of a health care system, calls never go through. Tell you to ring up at 8am but you end up dialing over 200 times just to find no appointments available and when you do get an appointment, 9/10 times they don't even help.

I haven't personally found reception staff rude or unhelpful. But I totally agree with the person who said it's practically impossible to get an appointment with any doctor. When you do, by a miracle get an appointment the doctor I've seen twice did indeed diagnose by Google! He can't understand English nor could I understand him. Appalling situation.

My elderly Mother has seen Ms Cooper the Practice Nurse twice in the last month.
Ms Cooper was professional, knowledgeable and her input has helped torelieve some of the distressing symptoms she was experiencing.
Thank you

They’re hard working and caring surgery. Reception team through to nurses and doctors. I’ve seen staff get shouted and sworn at when I’ve been waiting to be seen. Yet they’ve remained calm. Nurses and doctors are professional, helpful and listen.

The receptionists need a real reality and manners check. I have never met a ruder more unhelpful group of people in all my years. It is almost as if they TRY to make life harder.
I appreciate times are tough but manners cost nothing.

Also, I am all for legal immigration, however, when your GP physically can't speak the English language, there is clearly a problem there.

Not to mention the fact that the general way the GP's diagnose a issue is by (I kid you not) referring to Google.

It's safe to say my life expectancy has drastically diminished since being with this surgery 🤣

Wish it was possible to give no star. This service doesn’t even deserve one! The worst GP I have ever had the misfortune of using.

The receptionist are rude and unknowledgeable. I was kept waiting for 1 hour and 25mins before being seen by a doctor, because according to the idle receptionist an appointment had ran over by 30-40mintues and this led to me waiting whilst 6months pregnant with my hungry 2 year old. The receptionists and GP had no empathy or remorse for their failure to stick to ridiculous 10min appointment slot time with previous patients and all lied to me to cover their errors.

However, because I was 5mins late to an appointment because of the slow receptionist, Dr Sunday Ifedayo, failed to give me a prescription (couldn’t buy the drug over the counter and as an NHS doctor he should know this… wonder where he got his medicine degree?) and outrightly refused to make a mental health referral for me, despite the NHS promoting you talk to your GP. Dr Ifedayo is a dismissive doctor and failed to provide adequate care to me which led to the worsening of my condition. Avoid him if possible!

When I tried to make a complaint the receptionists made it so difficult to speak to anyone. Took a couple of weeks before I came to learn GP manager is on maternity with no one covering her role or knowing her working days and times (or they lied to me) so this explained why the GP is run so badly.

Overall, this GP needs shutting down. The quality of service is poor and unethical. If it hasn’t already, I’m certain many peoples health conditions have or will be made worse due to their incompetence.
