Such an amazing place! We had a one night valentines stay at the owl lodge with a stunning dinner in the evening. The cleanliness of the lodge was second to none. It was beautifully decorated and the general atmosphere is so calming and lovely. The hot tubs are a great addition to the lodges, super relaxing! We had some issues with accessing our emails that had important arrival information so we ended up talking to the owners, who were ever so helpful and kind and patient with us. You can tell they put a lot of care and thought into the place. Incredibly good experience and would love to come back again.

This is our second stay. We came and celebrated out 10th wedding anniversary. We switched it up and we decided to book the private dining experience and WOW! |I'm so glad we did|We had such an amazing bespoke meal. Cooked to perfection. In fact we will 100% book the experience again. As always our stay was peaceful, relaxing and you just feel your in a different part of the world that no one knows exists. Surrounded by lots of fairy lights that make everything look even prettier on a night. As ever we love being greeted by the lovely chickens who followed us to sit beside the canal watching the local wildlife pass by! We enjoyed our time in the sauna and I can never get nik out the hot tub. He will sit for hours watching the wildlife. I enjoy coming in the colder months as i enjoy the log fire burning 🔥. The little breakfast hamper is a special touch and makes up a tasty breakfast . It is definitely a high standard luxurious retreat for such a competitive price. |We are excited to try the kingfisher next.

We’ve just done a 1 night stay on the Kingfisher narrow boat and were so impressed! Everything from the moment we checked in to the second we left was perfect. The grounds are beautiful, the facilities have everything you need and more - and the boat itself was so lovely! Really enjoyed the novelty of staying on a narrow boat, would recommend to anyone! The luxury breakfast hamper was a massive bonus too. Thank you for a lovely stay - hope to be back soon!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, the setting was perfect for us, the bed was perfect the room was spacious and it was so clean! The hot tub was spot on and loads of little pubs and walks around! Definitely recommend. Hosts were so helpful when we got lost on our walk and booked us a taxi. The people who live in this area very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast hamper so tasty, and local produce absolutely outstanding, will definitely be visiting again, thanks Ronnie!

myself and my partner had a two-night getaway at Hawthorn Hideaway, and I couldn't of asked for anything better. We stayed in the swan lodge, which was beautiful. The log burner being my favourite thing about the lodge. They were so comfortable and luxurious. we also had a couples deluxe massage in the yurt, which was amazing, and then on the evening we had the private dining experience, which was second to none. the private chef had made the menu to our taste and requirements, as I like everything but my partner isn't quite as adventurous. Nothing was too much to ask for. The hosts, Josephine and Ronnie, were very welcoming and friendly, and I could not recommend this place more if I tried too. im already looking to see when we are free to try the kingfisher.

Just returned from a fantastic 2 night stay in Owl Lodge. This place is a real hidden gem, beautiful lodge, stunning area and private garden, great facilities and the hosts were wonderfu! The welcome/breakfast hamper is a real bonus too, we will definitely be returning!

We had the most perfect stay on Kingfisher Boat for a birthday celebration. The team were so helpful and even enjoyed a private dining experience on one evening. Fantastic stay with fantastic service, such a unique and remote location with lovely walks and plenty to do! Thank you again!

We came to the hideaway for our honeymoon and were blown away!
The Swan lodge was beautiful the pictures don't do it justice I cried at how beautiful it was and how much effort the team had gone to!
They were super friendly and helpful and we couldn't ask for more. They've gone above and beyond and was better than 10 nights in Barbados! With having a baby we don't get away much and will be returning as we felt so looked after.
