I’ve been quite ill for 3 days, I tried calling to get an appointment and they offered an appointment for in 1 week. Then the receptionist asked me to describe my symptoms, and when I couldn’t speak loud enough or articulate enough, she told me to repeat myself because I wasn’t clear. I told her, yes I know it’s because I m ill and I need to see a doctor. She then said something I didn’t understand and hang up on me. I keep on being surprised by the quality of the health team and quality in this country sometimes. I have never been used to such mediocre services especially when dealing with sick people. The doctor I saw there once was nice, did a good job and she advised me to go get treated in France if I had the chance as the quality of care was much better… but the receptionist I just had who just hang up on me.. it’s so rude and unprofessional. I don’t even know what to say… I m just shocked by such a behaviour.

I feel lucky to be registered with Suttons Wharf Heath Centre. My experience has been very positive. Very helpful and empathetic practitioners and staff. I had my first cervical screening test with nurse Vicky today. I always thought it would be very uncomfortable and painful; I could not believe how easy, pain-free and quick it was.

The most negligent GP surgery I’ve ever encountered in my life and people need to know. I went to this GP repeatedly for every symptom in the book over 2 years for a specific disease and it took me saying to them ‘I have this disease’ and even then the GP said I don’t think you do but we can do the blood tests anyway. Obviously I had the disease and when I asked the GP if there was anything I could do apart from medication to help my symptoms she said “ugh do your own research” Insane. Anyway when I got sick again the GP ignored my symptoms for so long and it turns out my new illness was caused by my previous disease being untreated for SO LONG. I went to the GP again and told them I was suffering from this new illness and once again had to tell them what was wrong with me. Absolutely awful. Idk what the issue is but I would honestly say they were negligent in their duty of care towards me. Don’t recommend to anyone

Nurse Vicky was great! I cannot recommend her enough. The past few appointments she has made me feel at ease and has answered all my questions. A real asset to Sutton Wharf!

Some of the worst and most dismissive medical care I've ever received. The GP laughed at me when I explained that I was confused by my medical results because I'm used to them being presented differently in the country I'm from ("We don't do that here" in a cutting, sarcastic tone). She then dismissed my legitimate concerns entirely by laughing them off and not offering me any clear medical explanation nor alternative solutions.

My first time as a registered patient transferring from another great practice, Spitalfields E1. Sutton's Wharf was clean and very presentable. Not so busy. The receptionist lady named Hlripsime extremely very helpful and prioritised my enquiries. First impressions very great!
