A truly lovely home, the team at Manton Heights cared for my grandfather in the past. He had a diagnosis of Dementia and their support and care for him is everything we could have wished for.

Most recently as a Registered Manager myself for a Care provider, I have returned to this home for a dementia training day which they have so kindly put on for local services. They were very accommodating and kind.

Manton Heights is a lovely care home. My mother has been extremely well looked after by attentive and caring staff. Today was her birthday and she was made to feel a very special 89 year old by the carers, many of whom made aspecial effort to come and wish her happy birthday

I was lucky enough to visit Manton Heights as part of some research I'm currently doing for my blog.
Dementia has always been close to my heart and is deeply personal as my Mother was sadly diagnosed with it.

The staff were all incredibly welcoming, polite and kind.
I was able to spend time with members of the lifestyles team and saw amazing activities and residents having so much fun, I could hear the laughter ringing in my ears even after I left. I spent time with Patrene the Dementia ambassador, she showed me and even demonstrated the VR goggles and explained how the home uses them, and other technology and how the residents benefit from their use.

The Words "care home" evoke a response in a lot of people, often it is a negative picture even when they haven't visited one or perhaps they've heard or read a negative story in the press.

I highly recommend a visit to this Home. You can feel positivity and friendliness from the front reception area all the way through........a wonderful, caring home with lots of very friendly and professional people.

I had a really warm, welcoming experience. Recent refurbishments and changes at the home have made for an inviting, comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
The new management team showed me the lengths they go to support the residents, and shared their plans for including specialist technology to enhance the lives of people with memory impairment.
Thoroughly impressed and enjoyed my time.
Thank you Manton Heights.

I heard the way “management” speak to staff. Unprofessional and unwarranted. The place is a mess, no structure management seem disinterested in whats going on. Carers are very busy doing their best. Then you see same group of carers standing around in kitchen chatting. Theres one with short dark hair that seems to shout alot with attitude. Not the kind of place you would want any family member, im glad nan only had a short stay.

In my experience this Care home is really lovely. I work for the neighbouring nursery and we have established a beautiful partnership. The staff and management there work to keep their residents happy and stimulated in their stays and feel life could be beautiful there xx
