I have been a patient of Laurens for about the last 5 years and he has been my first port of call for various pains and problems I’ve experienced. He has used both manipulation and acupuncture in my treatments and has always been able to help me. His knowledge, experience and skilled treatment approach give me the confidence to trust myself to his care and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
And he has a great sense of humour - an extra asset to his treatments.

I have suffered with my achilles for years, hardly able to walk at times. A few visits to Laurens and I am able to start exercising again. I also took my mother who was bent right over. Unfortunately no one had been able to diagnose what was wrong with her so on the off chance I took her to Laurens for a couple of visits. She has been standing upright ever since and she is 88!
I can't thank or recommend Laurens highly enough.

I was recommended by a friend to visit Laurens back in 2018 when I was suffering with hamstring pain. Other physios I had seen were enable to resolve the issue but certainly lightened my wallet!
During my first appointment with Laurens he diagnosed the issue was the onset of arthritis in my hip and treated it with some manipulation and acupuncture. The results were astonishing. Unlike the other physios who, off the cuff, told me I needed x amount of visits, Laurens simply told me to see how it felt and call again if I thought further sessions were needed. I think I needed 2 or 3 visits before it felt so much better.
The pain tends to creep back every 18 months or so, so I visit Laurens each time for some "top-up" treatment which always does the trick.
I'm not one to normally leave reviews but Laurens is the only specialist I will visit so I hope that whoever reads this review will be equally satisfied and have their issue resolved.

I’ve been seeing Laurens for a number of years. I have a syndrome that causes many muscle and ligament problems, with the use of gentle manipulation and acupuncture he’s always got me back on my feet. He is extremely knowledgeable.

Laurens is professional, knowledgable and has always managed to treat the conditions my GP can’t help with. Having used his services for various problems over the last 30 years, today I’ve been treated for TMJ syndrome symptoms- and am now symptom free after the first session! Highly recommended
