The system is highly inefficient. Frequently, the online booking and request system is turned off, forcing patients to call instead. The phone queues are incredibly long, and even after getting through, securing an appointment feels impossible due to a lack of available doctors, often leaving patients waiting for days.
In my case, I was taking diazepam and ran out of the prescribed amount. However, I couldn’t continue my medication because of delays in issuing a new prescription, which led to sudden side effects from abruptly stopping the medication.
Now I need to go all through again, book an appointment which they can't tell me when is going to be possible, in order to get another prescription.
Additionally, some of the staff on the phone (though not all) are unhelpful and rude, they raise their voices when asked for an explanation and seem not to care about patients because instead of suggesting another solution they just keep repeating to call again another day. While the reception prominently displays a sign stating any abuse towards the staff will not be tollerated, it feels hypocritical that they abuse patients, subjected to neglect and poor treatment when they are denied the timely care and attention they need and pay for.
I have my appointments messed up several times and no explanations were given, but I was just given a new link to do all aover again my request for the appointment I had already but was cancelled due to their negligence.
Absolutely unacceptable.
