My wife was placed here for 3 months after surgery to help with a brain tumour.

I can not praise the staff highly enough for the care and kindness they showed to both my wife and myself during the most difficult time of my life. The staff were truly wonderful.

My father was placed here for 4 weeks respite care, and we couldn’t fault it. Maria the manager was available at all times for questions, and was very approachable and kind. The staff were all incredible, looking after with him humour and dignity. Ssuna and Khosi particularly made him feel very at home. The setting is beautiful with large gardens overlooking the river, and everywhere was spotless.

My dad was recently hospitalised and deemed not well enough to go home upon discharge, so he was sent to a care home in order to regain some strength. The rest of my family and I feel incredibly lucky that he ended up at Abbey Chase. For the past couple of months, we have witnessed the staff going above and beyond on a daily basis to make sure he is as comfortable as possible. The managers are very hands on and take the time to check in with the residents as well as regularly offering us updates. The nursing staff are lovely as well as being knowledgable and proactive, and the carers are all so kind and patient too. I’m so grateful to everyone at Abbey Chase for giving me such constant reassurance that my father is safe and well looked after.
