Dreadful! Had bloods taken, abnormal results. Got sent a letter asking to book a routine appointment. Have tried at least once a week for the last 4 weeks for a phone call and there is literally nothing! Its a phone call, not even a face to face and I can't get an appointment! Finding a doctor elsewhere will take less time than trying to get an appointment here!

When I first joined the surgery, it was easy to get through on the phone and book an appointment but it seems there's been a change since the new year. Since the new year, you cannot call them without massive wait times (haven't been lower than number 25 in the queue) and you cannot book any routine appointments, only "emergency" on the day appointments. It is quite disappointing

Used to be a great surgery no problem getting appointment and friendly helpful staff but the last 18 months or so it's been a nightmare. When I was in agony with a herniated disc barely able to crawl out of bed and unable to wash or dress myself they refused to give me additional pain relief without seeing me. Fair enough, but 3 days in a row I called at 8.30am to make an appointment to see a doctor to get more pain relief. I was left on hold for between 45 mins to an hour and a half only to be told when I eventually got through there were no appointments left on 3 days in a row. On the fourth say after yet again being on hold for 40 mins I rang 111 on another phone who accessed the practice system and booked me in that day. It seems there is a queueing system for appointments at 5pm. Why they couldn't have told me that on the first day instead of leaving me in a state, barely able to function and effectively withholding me pain relief for 3 days? Barbaric, inexcusable and indefensible.

When joining this surgery I had high hopes and a positive perspective of it being welcomed by the receptionist and seeing the high reviews online. I didn’t doubt it for a second. However, two months down the line and cannot get an appointment, it is a bit strange as well it states it is open till 18:30pm on most nights which would be ideal for a late appointment for me working full time. Never got a phone back about results I was waiting for all week. I called up for an appointment and the issue which struck me is that I could not be seen at all - whether is was considered not important enough I do not know. I got a call from a doctor later later on Monday to confirm an urgent appointment request would be put in after me being ignored for an appointment. I understand times are hard and surgeries are extremely busy, however, I have been trying for weeks to get an appointment and to be seen in person to fit around working full time and it is extremely difficult to be seen here.

Nearly 3 months for a sky diving certificate. After a brief medical the Doctor forgets to sign it! Still waiting!

Honestly one of the worst drs around.

The waiting times are astronomical.

They will actively work against you.

Asked for a sick note to cover for a certain date and when I went to pick it up, it ran out the day before I had specified I needed it for.

They then showed no care in reguards to the fact they had made a mistake or how that would then negatively effect me.

Steer as clear as possible.

My wife was recently diagnosed with a heart problem. First of all she waited 3 weeks before she got an appointment with a Doctor.
On Wednesday 8th July she saw a Consultant at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, who said he wanted to change her medication, and would write to her G.P with the details. The heart needed to be slowed down as it was racing.
The hospital emailed details of the new prescription on Friday 10th July at 2.20 pm. She was told the medication needed to be started at once.
She phoned surgery on Friday - no prescription. Phoned Monday 4 times - still no prescription. She had to tell reception what time the email was sent. My wife was getting more stressed bearing in mind she has a heart problem.
The reception staff eventually found the email and she got the tablets Monday afternoon. If she had not kept phoning for information she probably would have been waiting another week. Bearing in mind the Doctor wanted her to start the medication for the weekend.

Annoyed husband
