I am extremely well traveled and have had so very many treatments and massages regularly in different spars all over the world and to day I had a full body massage by Debbie- it was amazing one of the best massages I have ever had - a lovely very professional lady I highly recommend her

Having telephoned the Durrant House Hotel this morning to ask if my appointment today could be postponed to another day as I have a very bad head cold and sore throat, which I did not think was fair to sit opposite the technician for half an hour and possibly give to her, which I' sure she would not be happy about, I was answered by a jobsworth on reception who absolutely would not bend or agree that it would be unacceptable and frankly inconsiderate to continue with my appointment. I am absolutely disgusted with her attitude, I was not asking to cancel, merely to move to another day when I have recovered. I have been using the Spa for years, but I'm afraid no more but they clearly don't value loyal customers. Loyalty works both ways and that's the last time I use R & R Spa. The Spa have lost a customer thanks to a receptionist who should be more accommodating.

Really enjoyed our spa experience on Monday. Great friendly staff who were great at the treatments we had. The salt scrub and facial were so good and a nice hot shower to get into after treatments.
Thankyou we will be back soon.

Extremely short valid life with gift vouchers.
I was given a voucher to use at this location. Unfortunately I found it very difficult to get a suitable appointment due to their opening hours and myself working full time. However, when I did find a suitable appointment, I discovered the vouchers only had a 6 month valid period.
As I was 5 days over this period the manager refused to allow the voucher to be used. I wasn't allowed to actually talk to the manager but relied on the reception staff (with whom I have no issue). I have never seen a voucher for less than 12 months before and find it very poor that the the R & R spa have happily kept my money as they have suffered no loss of money , nor delivered any service. Having read the reviews it appears they angered other customers with their poor voucher policy.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the treatments I received here today. I had a wonderful massage and Elemis facial. Well priced with no skimping on time or product, and a great sense of release felt. Can’t recommend highly enough. Will definitely be revisiting ?

Have spent hundreds of pounds here over the years as have alot of other members of my family and extended family. Contacted them via email a while ago regarding some vouchers which had expired during covid to check that they would still honour the expired vouchers to which i never received a reply so later contacted them via Facebook then was told to email the durrant with proof of the vouchers which i did to then be told i couldn't use them! I'm gutted as members of my family have spent a lot of money on these vouchers for Christmas presents will never use this place again which is a shame as the massages etc are always very good. Other local businesses have had no problems honouring expired vouchers due to covid!

*AVOID**
Came here last Wednesday for nail extensions with shellac on top (£43) after 2 days 4 acrylics had fallen off due to being poorly done! When I rang to complain, the manager was difficult to get hold off, after calling 4 times finally spoke to a therapist who refused a refund and only offered to replace the 3 nails that had come off. A week later, still haven't been contacted by the manager who said she'd get back to me and she didn't. Overall I was very unhappy the way they dealt the my compliant, and feel as though customer service is NOT top of their priorities, waste of money and a waste of time!
