Called yesterday to book an appointment, even the receptionistist was pleasant and helpful not what i usually expect to hear “you’ll need to wait until something falls off or you don’t need to see us anymore, call back in a month with that starts with a Z”. However I was given another for the next day (today). Arrived at the surgery 15 minutes early, was seen 7 minutes early. Dr Osman Hussain saw me, he’s was a nice friendly and polite chap, felt like he listened to me and appeared interested in my health issue and seemed to have the enthusiasm needed to do the job. He also made eye contact with me, looked up from his computer, I thought it was amusing that I knew what his face looked like because normally I only ever see the doctors in profile. It was nice to be treated like a human being and with compassion. I am really pleased.

I had lost a bit of faith in this surgery, from my previous experience, where the attitude towards me had left me anxious and wanting to avoid using the service as all costs. I had decided if this was still the case I would be moving to another surgery. Obviously it’s early days, but if the good service continues and I continue to be treated in a humanistic way, then there is no reason to move.

Highly unprofessional response from receptionist, no telephone manners, no sympathy at all. I called last Thursday afternoon to book an appointment for my partner who wasn’t feeling well from past 3 days, he couldn’t even call for himself, the receptionist responded with “is bank holiday weekend I’m afraid there’s no more appointments available for today you can call back tomorrow at 8 am”. No DOB has been asked no name nothing, without knowing which patient is calling, appointment has been denied (my partner called after 2 years to book 1 appt with gp). If I could give 0 I would. Very disappointed.

A quick service and when ever I need appointments I’ve been able to get them. However when on a phone call I’ve been talked over and not allowed to get in word in- I get that you may not be able to do something I get that but maybe try listening to the person and allow them time to talk so they feel heard- not talk over them with I can’t do that repeatedly. I would have understood more if I had the opportunity to speak my part then you explain clearly why you can’t. A person may feel better if they actually felt heard

Got removed from their practise, made all appointments on time can't say same about them late 3/4 times and just questioned some of the logic of the doctor, their observations are lacking common sense and blaming anxiety for their lack of knowledge isn't a good look. They clearly have issues if they remove you off their books sort of speak for such trivial matters. Good riddance. Avoid.

Haven't been at this practice for very long, but I received an appointment the same day ( unlike my previous GP and it was ' face to face ', majority of the receptionists are lovely, good phone system too.

Had a abscess and doctor dealt with it immediately with a referral to the walk in centre and prescription of anti biotics. Very happy with the service and hope they continue this way.
