This is a disaster zone. This is not a dedicated walk in GP service. This is the A&E department where the morning after a Friday night you join the long queue of people who have drunk too much fell over and injured themselves. Waited over 4hrs to see a GP. Still that is quicker than the 3 week wait to see my registered GP. The system is completely broken and not fit for purpose. Feel sorry for the nurses and medical staff who are completely overwhelmed. I can remember when they had a walk in GP service at Monkmoor which worked like clockwork. Somebody needs to sort this out and fast ?

Walked in a short while after they opened on a Monday morning and was seen after one hour. The staff were very friendly and the doctor was informative. I asked the doctor many questions and I felt listened to. Thanks you NHS!

What a brilliant service. I was advised to attend the Walk-in Service by my GP practice. Booked in by a lovely lady at 8.56am today, triaged & seen and on my way home within an hour. Lovely staff, thank you so much. You are all stars. ?

What an amazing service - Needed a regular medication which I had been unable to get due to not being able to get an appointment with my own GP. Attended without an appointment at 9am (was expecting a long wait), but was seen and prescribed what I needed within 30minutes. Staff were all really friendly and listened to everything I was telling them. All-in-All a really good service and great staff.

I just spent a total of fifteen hours in this hospital to have nothing done for me at all. Er nurse told me I had to come back and see a GP after waiting six hours because I needed a script. Called the desk to see if that was correct and gp could issue the script. Desk said yes. Waited three hours for gp to tell me he couldn't issue the script and only the medical team could. Sent me to the medical team and waited another five hours to have them tell me they couldn't issue the script. Also, lost the blood sample they took and had to take a new one. Nurse stuck me in both arms and both hands because he couldn't draw blood properly. An absolute three ring circus.

I was seen here by a nurse practitioner who was very unhelpful, the other staff were nice though. She didn't seem bothered at all. This should not be advertised as a walk-in centre, I was told by 111 that I should go here for an opinion from a Dr due to being in pain and unable to get an appointment with my GP for another two weeks. I was subsequently told by the nurse practitioner that she could only refer people for urgent care, which I took as meaning next to death as I was in a lot of pain. Unhelpful 1*.

Used this service for the first time yesterday (12.9.2016) and was very pleased with how I was dealt with. I had an issue with my ears, but couldn't get into see my GP. On arrival at the Walk-in, I was met by a lovely receptionist and a male nurse who asked me questions about what was wrong. I was then asked to take a seat. After only about 10-15 minutes, I was called in to see Caroline who was lovely. She took time to ask me about my symptoms, medical history and medications I am on. She then examined me and diagnosed a minor ear infection. She wrote me a prescription and advised me what to do if it didn't get any better. I am feeling much better today, and would thoroughly recommend the Walk-in to anyone in the Shrewsbury area who can't get to a GP's surgery.

Called to ask about getting an emergency prescription, this was recommended by my pharmacist as my GP is fully booked and I can’t fax my prescription over from Wales. I was explaining my situation and was immediately hung up on. I know it wasn’t because of weak signal and I heard the phone be slammed down. Absolutely disgusting.
