On calling this practice, who were seeing out-of-area patients, I was told to call my home GP first. All the phone consultations had gone at home so I waited 3-4hours for a call from my GP’s contracted OOH service, who triaged me (with the benefit of my records) & said I needed to be seen in person. S&C weren’t happy with the outcome of what they’d told me to do & told me to travel to their practice to complete forms, go back to base & await another triage call, but from their GP.. I felt worse by then so we cut our holiday short in the hope of getting medical care at home. The delay actually increased the chance of needing hospital treatment- not a great outcome for me or the NHS?

We have recently moved - permanently - to the area and are amazed at the friendly support and super service we are getting from Seaton & Colyton. Appointments are available almost instantaneously, we had some specific issues with covid vaccines that they sorted for us perfectly and it is for me the best medical practice I've ever encountered. We relocated from Berkshire and I had not seen my own doctor F2F for at least five years. Make the most of the wonderful asset we have here in Seaton.

NB I had intended for a while to write this review but I was prompted to write this piece after popping in to the surgery recently and hearing someone abusing the reception staff around unavailability of appointments. Nonsense - it is a first class service. Thank you!

This has been my doctors for 27 years. The service that I have received from all the practice doctors, nurses and receptionists has been and still is excellent. We are so lucky to have this wonderful NHS facility in a rural town like Seaton.

What a Great Surgery !!!! I became unwell during my holiday and went to this surgery for help and that is just what I got . A GP rang me and got things sorted and 5 days later I got another call to see how I was doing. Thank you very much for being so kind and understanding ?
