Unable to get an appointment for my 18months old son 3 days in a row was told to travel to an urgent walking centre the other side of Leeds.

Today I was caller number 2 in the queue at 8:00am. On the occasion the person taking the call sounded generally sincere about the situation and I appreciate whole heartedly they are up against it.

However, this surgery should be investigated for the neglect of it’s infant patients.

Where to start... In recent years this surgery has gone from excellent to beyond poor. To be quite honest, in my opinion and experience, it doesn't even deserve one star. It's demise started after Dr's Knight and Nicholson left. It has never had regular GP's since, just a rake of locums.
Step up the merger with Bramham surgery! Oh no, wait a minute, no give them a few months, nope, even worse service (or lack of) now.
The practice manager thinks she is far superior to everyone and the receptionists, when you can get through, (it often takes 40 plus minutes and then you get cut off) thinks she is a triage nurse and tells you to call again tomorrow! The best one so far, is tearfully begging for an appointment in front of a waiting room full of people because you couldn't get through on the phone, to be offered the first one available 3 weeks on Tuesday! We are not an emergency service is what she told me, you'll have to ring the phone (that nobody answers) in the morning and somebody may be able to get you an appointment.
4 Years we have put up with this terrible "service" and even worse in the last year. No point emailing complaints to the practice as the afore mentioned practice manager has no interest in dealing with it. I have now lodged my complaint with the ICB and CQC and moved myself and my family to the other practice in Wetherby.

Only gave this 5 stars so it would be at the top!! Worse doctors and really rude bad service from reception people, don't no what they doing and really unhelpful, STAY AWAY.

Cannot get a doctors appointment ever!! I am even trying for my 5 month old baby. Number 7 in the queue at 8am and still miss out. Absolute shambles of a place.

Takes a while to get emails read and appointments are hard to come by but the doctors are very good when you get to them. They’re considerate and non-judgemental, and very eager to help when it comes to prescriptions. Also, this surgery is the best in the area for minority groups such as LGBT patients and very well informed.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Wetherby Surgery - me and my 2 month old baby have recently needed a lot of support from the surgery including from midwives and doctors - we’ve seen Dr Edstam and Dr Buk-Filak who are both super GPs. The reception staff are friendly & helpful. I’ve never had an issue getting appointments on the day or near future when needed (although must call at 8ish to get an urgent appt, as with any surgery at the moment).

The worst doctors we have ever been registered at. Constantly turned away or had appointments cancelled and told that a Dr has called in sick or had to work from home. Already run out of in person appointments at 8.06am even for my 1 year old forcing us to go to a&e for something that could have been dealt with by a gp. Turning my husband away and telling him to go to a walk in centre for something that was always dealt with quickly and efficiently by our old gp, mostly without even a telephone appointment needed and prescription issued. We moved to the area in the middle of July and have given the surgery more than enough chance to improve. We will moving GPS ASAP. Do not register here, you are wasting your time.

I’ve recently found a lump, as I’m concerned about it for obvious reasons ,I tried to get an appointment thinking something like this needs to be investigated urgently
To my astonishment I was told earliest appointment would be in approximately (if my memory serves me correctly ) three weeks time
Therefore should I bypass the Wetherby surgery and go to A/E and explain that I can’t get an appointment
