Yet again Wells pharmacy Alnwick shows how not to run a service. I phoned this mornings (I got through on the FIFTH time) of ringing to ask about my prescription which had been authorised 10 days ago. Even by their standards this was poor. I had not received my automatic text alerting me and had not been able to get through on the phone. The woman took my number and said that’s the one they had but re-input it anyway and I got the text. Apparently the system “must have needed a refresh” and the items were awaiting collection. My husband went down to collect them, confirmed the number of items and came back. I opened them and two items were missing. So I had to drive back, then after half an hour waiting in line and waiting after I explained the situation, the items were given to me. They had obviously just been made up.
What a shambles! Why can’t this pharmacy get basic things right Time after time they simply screw up. I was not the only person in the queue correcting errors.

I’m sure everyone’s experiences on here are true for themselves however, I need to give credit, where credit is due
as people are tend to complain vs give praise.

A HUGE, HUGE thank you to pharmacists KiKi, Sami, Dr Alice and, all the team (including reception) at Well Being Pharmacy & Alnwick Walk-in clinic.

After loosing all my medication prior to leaving for a flight back to Australia, the walk-in clinic and Well Being Pharmacy went above and beyond to make sure I got the ‘controlled’ medication I needed so I could continue my family holiday.

I am due for a fifth back surgery on 24th Aug in Melbourne Australia however, when my bag was stolen I lost all my medication prescribed to me. This left me stranded, in significant pain and unable to continue my trip.

With smiles on their faces and a “never a problem, always a solution” attitude, everyone worked so hard to coordinate my prescription.

I’m sat in the busy waiting room of the pharmacy and, after hearing a couple of people complain about having to wait a few minutes to be seen the , obnoxiously ringing the bell on the counter, I thought to myself, these customers have no idea how hard these guys work.

Again, everyone is different and ‘entitled’ to their opinion on here however, my mother always taught me “manners are the few things free in life” .

My two cents to the people I’m waiting with, there’s a big difference to you being entitled to your opinion that being “an ‘entitled’ person in life.

I regret joining this pharmacy when I relocated to Alnwick. Extremely poor service, not interested in you even when you ring the bell in store.

They have a phone number, but I've rung 5 times today (weekday) between 9am and 5pm and every single time, nobody picks up. Poor communication, which is appalling given people rely on this service for their health care needs. Will certainly be submitting a formal complaint to the company.

Very disappointing service, understaffed, poorly supplied system . They rarely answer the phone. As a very consistent consumer of multiple medications it is incredibly frustrating.I feel sorry for the staff who are desperately trying to cope with a very heavy, inconsistent supply of medications.

Over an hours wait so far and still waiting on a repeat prescription. No seating outside for elderly people and there’s 15 people waiting. Not an apology for the time wasted for something so simple

Never have the repeat prescription ready, tell me it's there when often it's only part filled. This is a rural area and I have had to make three visits to finally get my prescription filled.
The staff are nice, but the service and never answered telephone make it a terrible experience.
The 1 star is for the staff, if I could have given 0 I would have.

Disgraceful chemist in the last eight months there has been a problem every month with my repeat.
I have them delivered as do not go out and this chemist NEVER picks up the phone or answers msgs.
My gp has tried to sort it out. There superintendent number waste time habe emailed them spoke to them on phone even saying a regional manager would be in contact not heard from them yet now the ignore emails.
Have had no option but to report them to the NHS complaints.
This month only delivered one dosset tray and no inhalers or painkillers.
They are disgrace as these scripts they have months in advance, so I have no idea why the are not fulfilling the script like they should.
DON'T TRUST THESE PPL TO DELIVER MEDICATION AS HAVE NO CARE AND WILL PUT PPL AT RISK...
