I was referred to a consultant at the hospital in August. Since then:
- 2 consultant appoints have been cancelled
- 2 scans at the hospital have been cancelled, both a few hours before the appointment
- I was emailed the wrong date for an appointment and was then told I might be liable for the full cost of the appointment as I didn’t turn up (even though I showed the hospital the email they had sent me with the wrong date)
- Have requested a call back and sent an email to discuss the cancellations but have received no response back from the hospital
- If my re booked appointments go to plan it will be 3 months for a consultation and a scan

……further update, my 3rd scan appointment today has also just been cancelled at 7:15am, ahead of my 8:00am appointment. Still no response from the hospital regards my complaint. Sigh…..

From ease of making the appointment and the subsequent care I received, I cannot recommend HCA Wilmslow highly enough. From the nursing team to the Consultants everyone was exceptional and made me feel very secure in the decisions proffered for my care.

Visited Mr Scala (Eyes!) and had parking Space available /reception was spotless. The receptionists were polite and proffessional the whole hospital was exactly how it should be would definitely go there again. I was self paying and I would definitely pay again.

Although I was very apprehensive before my first visit, I was soon put at ease. I was greeted as soon as I entered the hospital, and made very welcome. All the information I was given was very clear and at a level I could understand and process. I was allowed to make an informed decision about my treatment, and supported throughout the whole initial visit.

Fantastic experience at HCA so far! The consultant, nurses, imaging and admin staff have all been so lovely and caring. All of my appointments happened within 48 hours and I’m expecting my follow up within 2 weeks. Brilliant!!!!!

Very easy and quick to make an appointment. Very clean and organised hospital and really lovely staff. Was able to get my MRI booked for 24 hours later. Great place.
