1 star given as zero not an option, I have been trying for 2 weeks to get an appointment to speak to a doctor, medication they put me on was making me feel tired and I ached all over, even nodding off at work. I stopped taking the pills and rang the surgery for advice, was told to speak to a pharmacist or ring 111, which I did and was told to speak to my surgery. I have now given up so I'm still at a loss as to if I'm in any danger by stopping my medication, totally out of order on my opinion.

I’ve moved from Devon to Stamford and registered with this surgery and cannot understand the negative reviews. First time ringing the doctor today, after getting a callback I was placed on a triage with the doctor and after 10 minutes the doctor called me and I had an appointment to see him for 3pm today- even the prescription needed was prompt.

Called to speak to a GP or Nurse as I've not been INVITED to have my Yearly Flu Vaccine for 2024 as I'm classed as Vulnerable. I've got a bad Cold & Cough & I knew what I'd be offered to assist it Antibiotics & even tried to help the Receptionist by saying it, even giving her the name of the usual Antibiotic to at least HELP ME by asking. The answer i was given Today December 19th 2024 is "Sorry were at Full Capacity but if you've got a way to get over to Peterborough City Hospital don't go into it just next to it there's a 24/7 GP Surgery there, hope you get better soon"
Erm "Full to Capacity" usually means Patients sitting in the Waiting Area waiting to be seen by a GP........All I noticed when Talking to the Receptionist at Sheepmarket Surgery better known as the FANTASTIC Lakeside was EMPTY CHAIRS........I would have thought by now that having GPS leaving & Nurses leaving to Work in different Surgeries that the GPS would have listened to their Former Work Colleagues especially as the Partners of Lakeside Sheepmarket & St Mary's refuse to listen to their Patients. If the Partners refuse to listen to Former GP's & Nurses who ALL LEFT because of Lakeside Health care itself NOT the Surgeries Names then we'd have no problems seeing, speaking to a GP or Nurse. Oh YES I FORGOT WE DID BEFORE AT Sheepmarket or St Mary's Surgeries & on the SAME DAY & you could even Walk In to ask to see a GP or Nurse & as long as it wasn't at a stupid Time, you'd get an Appointment. Sadly this was BEFORE all of the Original Partners made alot of Money by Selling the Patients Out to Lakeside Healthcare. MP's have been involved the CQC has been involved, maybe the Government's Health Secretary should come & Speak to US as Patients to tell the Health Secretary to STOP Paying the GP Valerie's, get rid of the Partners & get Sheepmarket & St Mary's Surgeries BACK to how they were ran by GP's BEFORE Lakeside.Healthcare got there hands on the 2 Surgeries & RUINED BOTH OF.THEM. It would be QUICKER to be Treated in an A&E Department like the London Hospital or St Thomas's Hospital in London on a Busy Day/Night even a Saturday than see a GP here. Sadly they havnt Updated there Star Rating by adding Minus 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 YET & 1 Star Rating is the Lowest I can put in a "Plus" Area. From one very, very frustrated & Angry Disabled So Called Patient. I wouldn't have had this problem if they had done their Jobs in the first place & invited me in for my Annual Flu Jab. My Professor of Neurology will be very proud of the GP's putting my Disability Worse & just before Christmas BUT it's FINE TELLING ME TO GO TO A DIFFERENT COUNTY (Cambridgeshire) to Seel Medical Treatment there from a Cambridgeshire GP/Doctor even though I live in Lincolnshire & Registered Under a So Called Lincolnshire GP Surgery. Thanks for making my Disability ALOT Worse than it is & what a great Christmas I'm going to have

Terrible service
After finally getting to speak with a GP, I was informed my prescription would be sent to Well pharmacy, after 30
Minutes it hadn’t been received, several trips back to the surgery and reception informing me it had been sent I found it hadn’t been sent and it was now closing time at the pharmacy. My daughter went the following morning as I had deteriorated over night and was unfit to drive, only to find my prescription still hadn’t been received! Shocking service !!!

I've never seen a doctor's surgery run like this. I called for an appointment at 8am and couldn't believe it when I heard there were over 60 people in the queue. I had to wait almost 2 hours to get through to reception, when I finally did she told me that they didn't have anymore same-day appointments so I'd have to try again tomorrow. It shouldn't be this difficult to see a doctor.

Awful - when I did eventually get an appointment it had been made with the nurse and not a doctor so was an absolute waste of time all she could do was weigh me and take my blood pressure. It was supposed to be my first HRT review at 3 months. It seems that if you work you have absolutely no chance of getting an appointment- phone lines are only open for appointments during working hours. The online system is no better as I was unable to make an appointment on there either. If I do manage to try and call during the week then I have been 60+ in the queue. How is this allowed to happen? All the reviews complain about not being able to make an appointment but nothing is ever done. I have voiced my frustration to the reception both over the phone and in person but it makes no difference. I wish I could give it no stars!!!

Could not get through on Monday - phone queue for over an hour. Same on Tuesday. Phone queue message suggests using Doctrine - but message on website ‘Doctrine unavailable…’🤯. Wednesday queued for 55minutes and got through. Very pleasant receptionist but could not give me an appointment - as all appointments had gone. She asked me to ring for an afternoon appointment but could not tell me when I the lines are open for the afternoon appointments… 🤷🏼♂️.
Luckily a cancellation, whilst on the phone, got me in for the following day. Come on Sheepmarket can’t continue like this - it’s got to get sorted asap!

Doctors and nurses offer fantastic service, once you get past reception.
The receptionists could not be more unhelpful and rude. On hold for two hours (queue of over 20) to then be told to call back 8am tomorrow. When I eventually got through to someone, my call was handled with real disdain, reluctance and passive aggression. Receptionist tried to end the call several times, saying she would call me back. As I had already waited so long, I requested I stay on the line, while she had to query my simple request with her colleagues three or four times. I was then only stalled with more questions I had already answered. Eventually was told it was my fault for calling too late and why couldn't I get an electronic prescription elsewhere sent over to Lakeside.
The automated system is designed for callers to become disengaged and hang up, with numerous options ending in a website referral, an automated message and automatically hanging up on the caller. The best solution would be to speak to someone, willing to help, on the desk.
