I would love to say a huge thank you to Donna at the Meadows Surgery. I had a list of queries this morning when I called and she resolved them all for me. Also, Charley, who is always exceptionally helpful both on the telephone and on the reception desk . Nothing is too much trouble and she always goes above and beyond! Just wanted to express my gratitude to the wonderful staff down at the meadows surgery! Yesterday my daughter had a fainting episode after her injections (bit of shock) and her heart rate just wasn’t right. The drs, nurses and receptionists were so responsive and caring, we had 5 at one point making sure she was ok! I always get the help and advice I need from this surgery and just wanted to recognise them for the outstanding service they provide.

I can say the meadows do really try to do their best in these difficult times. Yes I too have had to wait but then there are only so many doctors out there. I know what it's like to work with the public and they will work you to death if you let them. I've been to other doctors surgery's and they are a lot worse! Nothing is perfect in this modern world all you can do is your best! If you agree leave 5 stars as it does boost morale.

Rang up for an appointment today, got told the time and confirmed it over the phone, only to be told on arrival that the appointment was for a completely different time and no other appointments were available. No attempt made to fix the situation. Was told on a previous occasion that my having a miscarriage didn't matter because I was using contraception and didn't want a child anyway. Absolutely appalling service across the board from staff. If it wasn't for the fact that the only other GP surgery in Thrapston has an equally poor reputation I would change.

Had to share a positive story. My partner phoned for me. Booked in initially to see the paramedic on the same day but then transferred to the doctor later in the day for something I was worried about. Explained clearly his thinking around what needed to happen. Was seen early. Very positive experience. Thank you!

Not an appointment available until September? This doctors surgery is a disgrace to the NHS. And nothing but a STAIN on Thrapstons name. And don’t get me started on the constant lateness of doctors. Absolutely embarrassing.

This surgery has significantly gone downhill. I can buy the lack of appointments and the need to wait for non emergencies, what I can't grasp is how I patiently wait over a month for a phone call to discuss something with a Dr only for them to call and hang up after a couple of rings, then text me to ask me to call the surgery only for them to then tell me I can no longer speak to them (we're talking seconds between phone calls!) And that I'd need to rearrange again.

I feel at an absolute loss.
