A lot of Chiropractors initially charge just for a chat about the issue. This place gets you in, sorts your back out, and gets you out again. In just two sessions, I felt an amazing difference. I couldn’t stand for more than 10 minutes without needing to bend my back or sit down. I started a new job and was worried about my back but thanks to The Health Barn they enabled me to start my new job with a mended back! Really lovely staff too and they are very experienced and know exactly what they are doing.

Very professional service, staff very friendly and helpful. I always feel better when coming out after the treatment. Amazing deep tissue massage etc. Overall very impressed and always reccomend the services to friends and family. I can't believe how good this place is. Go there soon it's worth it!

After reading all the fantastic sounding credentials of the main “Dr” at this clinic online, I was really shocked by my first consultation.

Having been to a few natural practitioners before, I was greatly disappointed by the lack of throroughness and interest in the initial assessment.
No tests of any kind were offered or performed.

The “examination” started with the Dr reading through my basic info, asking a few questions about my family history and current ailments.
Within 10 minutes of throwing quotes from philosophers and text books around, he didn’t tell me anything groundbreaking that I haven’t heard before and also incorrectly guessed if I had acne (never had before ever!) and advised by looking at me in my thick jacket that I could do with loosing 6-8 pounds!
He didn’t even measure weigh or look at my body!

I am a size 10, healthy and have no weight issues whatsoever by the way.

What then followed was the worst recommended diet plan I have ever seen, starting with citrus fruit and skim yoghurt for breakfast (anyone in nutrition or herbal medicine will tell you that this causes gastric problems due to acid overload). Then lunch should consist of starch (bread!!! Or rice!) and dinner an egg and walnuts. Really?! Of course I would probably loose a few pounds really fast by a horrid digestion and low energy...

Then I was offered an extensive list of supplements that were so overpriced and basic - I was greatly surprised again. I explained that I have my own magnesium and krill oil for example - and from a credible company. Upon overhearing this by another colleague of the said Dr. - he scolded me for not buying their supplements.

Could this experience get any worse?

The bright part was the very helpful lovely receptionist, who was the only thing that kept me from turning on my heels and running out - I kept my cool and stayed polite.

Would not recommend to go there for serious illness or ailments. I question this practice highly for their credentials - especially the practicing “wunder doctor” there.
