The care I received here was outstanding. When booking my appointment I mentioned having a needle phobia which has previously prevented me from going through with various treatments; the receptionist booked me in for a longer appointment so I could rest after my jab, and Janet the nurse was understanding and reassuring to a fault - she even passed around the Christmas biscuits! Thanks Janet, you’re a legend.

I came to City Doc a few weeks back and needed a few vaccines for upcoming trips. It is there I met a nurse called Janet. I have to say as an extremely anxious patient from the moment I met her she treated me with kindness and really made me feel comfortable. I have a massive phobia of needles and she was very gentle and very informative. I have never in my life said I like a nurse or wanted to go back and see one but I will now be a patient of Janet’s as long as she is still in the practice. My advice to her bosses is give her a pay rise and please acknowledge how great she actually is. What a star! Thank you so much

Janet Willard was an absolutely amazing nurse! My partner has a severe phobia to needles but since we are travelling to locations that need vaccines we chose the Travel Clinic.

Janet spoke to us like humans was incredibly calming and kind, she also went above and beyond to make sure my partner was okay and wasn’t kept waiting.

She really deserves a pay rise and an award for best nurse of the year if that is such a thing.

The receptionists were great too having taken the phobia into consideration and ensuring enough time was booked and re-assured us.

I would highly highly recommend anyone do research on where they are traveling to, and the prices and quality of the health care at the destination- this clinic charged me in total over £800 for vaccines to Vietnam, using threats of "they'll probably just inject you with water" "you'll be hospitalised if you don't have it now" (despite my research I chose to trust this, big mistake), when in reality the VN vaccines cost £15 with choices of which company to get, and on top of that the appointments come with blood tests and others go make sure you are healthy.

I cannot emphasize how much of a scam sussex travel clinic is in comparison. They will affectively manipulate you into paying over 20 times the price. It is here as last resort for sure, but for the sake of your own wallet find an alternative at your destination, of course do this instantly.

The staff are friendly but ultimately there to manipulate you. So do research before coming here.
