0 stars! I have been trying to get an appointment for over 1 month. Whenever I call back for a follow up they say they will call back and they never do. Only 1 person of the medical secretaries is trained to book medical reports. Unfortunately this have delayed the adoption process which is incredibly frustrating. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, train more people!!!!!!!! Horrible experience! I can’t even express my frustration with words. Utterly disgraceful and unacceptable.

What has happened to our lovely surgery? Since they merged with two others to become Mendip Vale it is AWFUL. The process to try and see a doctor (never the same one so how can you build up a relationship with your GP as advised) is so impossible that, if you are feeling ill, you cannot face the prospect of trying. The e-consult system is a fiasco! The only reason I've given it two stars is that the actual staff at the surgery are lovely and very helpful within the confines of what they can do. For example they cannot book an appointment for you as they used to do, which I would have thought was the main part of their job and which worked so well in the past.

Sea Mills Surgery always used to be at the very top of the performance and satisfaction table but now I'm afraid it's probably scraping the bottom. No wonder A&E departments are overwhelmed since people go there for treatment because it's impossible to see their GP. The sooner they ditch the appalling Mendip Vale and get back to being a surgery that serves their patients, the better.

I absolutely cannot fault the surgery. All members of the team are absolutely brilliant, we are so thankful for the excellent care they have provided for me and my family. Thank you so much.

Sea Mills Surgery used to be great - we could phone up on the morning and always get an appointment the same day. This became even more important when our daughter was born a couple of years ago. Whenever we spoke to friends they were envious of how good our doctor was and how quickly we could see them.

However since Mendip Vale took over, they have become a pain to work with and almost impossible to see. If you phone up in the morning and get through as one of the first calls, they will tell you they are full for the day with only emergency appointments available. Instead you have to go online and fill in an eConsult form and they will "try to get back to you within 48 hours". The last few times we did this, we never heard back from them.

Also we wanted to see the doctor today (or tomorrow) as one of us is home with our daughter on these days. Other days of the week will involve us taking time off work and it's very difficult to make plans around an appointment that might never actually get confirmed.

The latest time we just went to the pharmacy and they gave us some medication and said if that doesn't get rid of the infection after 3 weeks, go and see the GP. Well the infection is still there and we would love to see the GP, but apparently they are full...

If I could give a zero star, I would. Ever since Mendip have taken over it is impossible to get an appointment, it’s always they are fully booked or only emergency appointments. They tell you to fill out an econsult form and then have to wait several days or they never get back to you. I have been trying to get my young children seen age 4 months and 18 months but it just seems impossible and things seem to be brushed off as it isn’t an “emergency” I’m aware it isn’t an emergency because if it was I’d be calling 999. Everyone knows that things can change quickly for young children especially. It’s a disgrace and absolutely no duty of care.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. I had a mole removed from my face for a fraction of the price elsewhere and its a lovely result. Dr Stewart is kind and patient, explained everything, even put the radio on for me. Great bloke. Thanks I could not be more delighted.

The receptionist who spoke to me to confirm my booking was incredibly polite. There was a delay but that's kind of expected nowadays, I was informed when booking in to the system so that definitely helped me understand straight away that there was a delay. The Dr I had was incredible he sat there and listened and wasn't judgey at all. He made me feel incredibly comfortable.
