I used to absolutely love this surgery. So helpful and always great service and understanding. For the last year its been almost a horrible experience every time I speak to them. The doctors are incredible. Cannot fault them. Really helpful, caring and great clinical care. This is about the reception staff. They lack compassion and understanding and are almost always so defensive. I've had so many situations I don't know where to start. The latest being not supporting me with a medication that I must have that has been requested 5 days ago. Clinician apparently didn't do the script due to it being stopped by the hospital. But medication is only to be stopped after a certain date?, not immediately ( and I am still within the date to take). And this has been either not communicated by the hospital correctly or not read by their pharmacist correctly. Now we are Friday and I have no medication (as I was told it would take time to do when chased up mid week) but the receptionist is telling me I won't get anything today ( and I have ran out even though I gave it 5 days my end.). Its just the lack of understanding and not wanting to support. They call you rude when you get frustrated, and you just eventually become more and more frustrated. But if there was just kindness and understanding and a willingness to support at the end of the phone it would make all the difference. Its all about the tone as well.
I don't even know how/if this post will change anything. I'm just getting so frustrated.

I'm also sure this isn't all the staff but unfortunately I have felt its most. And the staff has changed since when I fistt started. Jts a shame as I honestly never could have faulted them before. They were brilliant!

Extremely difficult, perhaps even impossible to get an appointment here. I have been trying for consecutive days, the online system always seems to be switched off, even during the narrow timeframe given where your supposed to be able to book appointments. I feel very let down by a service which is supposed to be accessible, but in practice it isn't

It's been good here. We moved to the area 4 years ago and Ruston is our nearest surgery to register with. They have been supportive with our requirements and in advising us wherever we need their help. It is true that the booking system fills up early but I wonder if this is the Doctors' fault if they are only allowed a set amount of patients in a day. Anyway, my family and I are happy and grateful for the work the doctors do. Thank you?

I have been with this practice for more than 10 years. Unfortunately, from my and my families recent experiences we have had the worst experience thus far. I understand the NHS is under huge pressure and there are staff shortages within this practice. However, this does not mean the service provided to patients needs to be compromised. It is already extremely difficult to get an appointment and be seen - when seen by a particular Dr. we have been made to feel unheard and dismissed, request for tests to be done and are refused after ongoing medical concerns (inform them the medicine previously given is no longer providing the help which it once had but still be giving the exact same thing again.) At times there has been the case where the online forum is closed so early there is not a chance to even fill the Accurex out.
A particular thank you to Dr. Manning, Dr Siva, and Dr. Matin for being extremely understanding and ensuring our queries are heard and ongoing issues have a solution (or near a solution as possible to ease what we are going through).

Excellent GP practice. The online system to submit queries or ask about medical issues is straightforward to use and I always hear back within 24 hours. The doctors are amazing and really take the time to address each issue. They go above and beyond given how busy they are and the current pressures on the NHS.

Brilliant GP surgery. Dr Ahmed has been amazing caring for my daughter, very compassionate and helpful. The receptionists are lovely including the locum one I encountered. Always reply back to you when they say they will and answering the phone straight away, trying to provide you with the best possible services. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. 100% better experience than our last GP surgery, very happy we moved to Ruston Street Clinic.

Can never get appointment never answer the phone when calling rubbish clinic,,,,update been trying to see my DC for a few different things you can not see a DC at this surgery it's pointless being registered there . This surgery don't help regardless of your issue or how urgent it is basically getting paid to sit in a empty surgery and divert patients elsewhere, updated
