A fantastic service, I am always treated with respect, I am given options in my own care and my opinion matters to them. I am very very lucky to be cared for by this amazing team, I'm not so lucky as for the reason why I am here in the first place but that is irrelevant. Wonderfully kind team, including receptionists. Knowledgable respectful and approachable medical professionals. I can't rate them highly enough, they have changed my life for the better.

From my first experience of being greeted with a warm handshake, introduction and smile by the consultant who had agreed to see me started off my fantastic experience of this hospital. This continued during the consultation where the doctor genuine listening to me, and making the time to perform a thorough and comprehensive examination and history taking made me feel greatly at ease. My care was firmly at the centre of all the staff's ethos, that I had the pleasure to encounter.

This attitude to care meant that I was included in ever step; from gaining a diagnosis, through to options about what treatments were available and being offered a place on a fantastic course that were led by a fantastic team who tailored the course to individuality of myself allowing me to step away with hope and empowerment at the end of the course that I'd have the right tools to start to understand and manage my health (my disease) therefore feeling like I could optimise my health. While never worrying that if was unsure of something or that it things changed I could contact the team and get the answers I needed.

A fantastic hospital, great team, continuity of care and understanding of managing the person with the long term conditions in a way that a lot of other hospitals could learn from rather that just treating the disease.
