After several disasters at other opticians I found the Observatory. It’s such a lovely friendly place they are so helpful and efficient and have really cool frames to choose from ..I’m on my third pair now. Rene Jack and Rachael were super efficient I won’t be going anywhere else the overall care is first class!

Took my glasses into the observatory today as I accidentally sat on them at the weekend. Served by jacqui who was fantastic in sorting the problem out for me till my next appointment in a couple of weeks. She spent a good deal of time making sure I was happy with the repair- a professional friendly reliable service and I felt that nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommended.

The staff at Observatory were so helpful in finding the perfect frames for my husband and made everything easy by offering collection from either of their shops to fit around his work hours. Excellent service and really thoughtful! Couldn’t recommend enough ?

I popped in this afternoon as the lense had come out of my glasses, i hadn’t purchased these glasses from themselves so i was unsure if they would be able to fix them for me. They were more than happy to help me, and the service was quick and super friendly. Will definitely be returning in future for my eyetests ☺️ thank you again for your friendly and efficient service!

Enjoyed my visits to the Observatory Beccles. Helpful and friendly staff; mainly dealt with Rachael but everyone seems great!

I had a fabulous experience - I stupidly "lost" my contact lens inside my eye in the morning but, try as I may, I couldn't get the darned thing back out - could feel it, but couldn't see it and my eye was becoming increasingly irritated and painful. Eventually, I went into Beccles to seek help from an Optician rather than throw myself at the mercy of the NHS! I felt a bit bad because I am not a regular customer, but Bavin was incredibly helpful - he examined my eye and located the lens, which had actually migrated quite far up under the upper-lid and had split into two pieces. He removed the fragments and re-examined my eye - declared everything in order and suggested artificial tears just to soothe and cleanse my eye. All done in about 15 minutes! Wouldn't accept payment for doing the job - I'm hugely grateful. Thank you so much! Ruth

Excellent service at eye test appointment, care taken with choice of glasses and ensuring correct order.
Fantastic service when collecting glasses, great care taken on fitting, and explanation of varifocal lenses and care of glasses. Highly recommend
