I was hesitant about signing up here because of the awful reviews but it’s my closest GP so I thought I’d give it a go. I’m really impressed and thought I’d leave a review to give credit where it’s due.

I signed up myself and my two kids and was told it’d be a couple of weeks before I heard anything back. A few days later I got text messages saying we were registered. I called them up to book in my son’s jabs, we got an appointment the following week and the nurse was lovely.

Today I popped in to book an appointment for myself at 5.30pm and the lovely receptionist said they actually had a free appointment at 6.40pm. I came back at 6.30pm and was called by the Dr exactly at 6.40pm. Usually you have to wait way past your appointment time to get called, but I was called bang on time!

My Dr, Dr Ahmed, was lovely. She really listened to me and made me feel seen, booked me in for blood testing and gave me some medicines to research, saying if I wanted to go for any of them just get back in touch.

I know the NHS is crumbling and other people have I’m sure had bad experiences here, but I’m honestly so impressed with mine and really happy to have found Dr Ahmed.

I’m so pleased with North Chelmsford NHS Healthcare Centre. As someone with a chronic heart condition, their care and services for me have been second to none. The patient welfare is very important when I’ve really needed their support, they’ve always come up top trumps. So a huge thank you for continuing to listen and support my needs!

Was initially pleased after signing up to this GP as the response times to triage forms and appointments were great. However we've noticed a real lack of understanding from some of the GPs.

We've had to take our 6 month old baby there a few times for different things and they seem to constantly misdiagnose, dismiss concerns or give the impression you are inconveniencing them by suggesting it could be other things.

Most recently we took our baby in as had concerns about her neck muscle being tight and a small lump on her neck. Despite researching this ourselves and suggesting this could be Torticollis, the GP completely dismissed it and seemed to be misinformed about the symptoms.

Within a minute of walking into a physio (which we had to investigate and insist on a referral ourselves) she confirmed it's 100% Torticollis.

My wife has also had to research an issue with her arm and after booking an appointment, was asked by the GP "Well what treatment do you think you need" instead of being given advice or the options.

Having worked in a GP Surgery herself as a practice nurse, it's very clear this surgery has a number of failings.

We'll be looking to change asap.

Used to be an amazing surgery, now I have nothing good to say. Definitely gone down hill and by all recent reviews I’m not the only one who thinks this. So much has happened but to keep it short, lack of care, after triage they just send standard text message not personal to your problem, try to call told to do another form. Missed results sent by hospital took 3 plus weeks to admit they had them and weren’t on system. Made complaint manager called me and her answer to me was she found me rude because I stated they are incompetent! Such a shame as I used to talk so highly of this surgery! The last year it’s got terrible

Can't fault the care here. Been with them for a year and health issues are dealt with promptly and thoroughly. Access to care is quick and you feel like you are being listened to.

This used to be a good surgery but in the last few months it's gone downhill drastically. My child had the hpv vaccination at school on Tuesday and on Wednesday he had 5 nosebleeds. I called 111 that evening as my child never has nosebleeds and they said to contact the gp the following morning which I did. I received a text to say they've never heard of this happening and that nosebleeds aren't unusual in children. I know that but this was after a vaccination and my child has never had a nosebleed. In the same week my adult daughter has a water infection but the surgery told her it'll take up to 5 days for results of a urine test. This surgery and to be honest the whole NHS isn't fit for purpose. I will definitely think twice before any vaccinations in the future because I can't guarantee any medical help if something goes wrong.

If I would give 0 star, I would done that. I am not happy with the staff at all. I had an appointment last week for my wife who doesn’t speak English and can’t drive and I got 2 babies they are 2years old and 3months old. I took off from work last week and today again and I paid for baby sitters twice and they cancelled my last week appointment last minute and todays one they said that I am late 7minutes which is not true. I was there and their self checkin is not working for the last 3 weeks and they blame parents. I always wait 20 to 40 minutes after my bookings and I understand but this is not fare if someone is late for 4 minutes and they cancel their appointment and the guy on the reception was so rude. I am not happy at all and please make a remark for my next appointments that I can not tolerate to wait more than my booked time. They sent a text message but they did not mention the time which I uploaded in this review. They don’t have the staff and that’s why they blame patients. I am Not happy at all.
