This has to be the worst GP practice I have ever come across in terms of processes and online communication and interactions.
The online system fails repeatedly. I have waited over 6 weeks for a basic repeat prescription.
(They only will book doctors appointments online) yet they get miss the requests and the system does not work.
You then call and the average wait time is 30 minutes minimum and you can potentially wait and get to caller number 1 and then the line cuts off happened multiple times to me.
On two occasions my daughter (1 year if age at the time) needed hospital treatment and they missed her condition both times and told me viral. I had attended the surgery 3 times in two weeks (with no antibiotics) before ending up in A&E. This practice needs serious changes it’s only got worse and worse. From what I used to think of as good surgery.

Such a good place !!!! I had Akbar one of the PAs see me today he was so good. He didn’t rush me out the door like my old place used to do. I felt seen for the first time in a long time

Also big shout out to Ash the Practice manager. it’s so nice to have someone working in a place like this who actually cares!!! He’s helped more in the last 5 Minutes then My last GP surgery has in five years

Big love to this place. 10/10 !

Normally all negative posts from the people moaning below so thought I’d add a positive for a change ! Never had such a positive experience with the LOVELIEST receptionist today, who helped reinstate me after an online mix-up with the help of a very nice gentleman at the reception. Also it has been so easy to get an appointment! As long as you call up with a sensible appropriate issue (as opposed to say something you can just go to the pharmacy for), I have been seen same day or within a couple of days, lots of available staff on hand (male and female) to help and see. Practice nurse has been absolutely kind and patient when I’ve seen her, even when I was late to her appointment she rearranged me because I was an upset mess for being so late. Very much appreciate the communicative and kind manner of all the staff, and their role in helping keep me safe and well. Very rare to find a gem of a practice like this - keep doing what you’re doing!

I even wanted to change GP surgery's due to the lack of professionalism this GP surgery has especially coming from the receptionists. I was supposed to have a telephone call which they even booked me for over a week after a doctor messaged me to book an appointment. Only for the day to come and they do not even contact me! I have been waiting on the phone for exactly 57 minutes and 52 second apparently 'First in the queue'. They always do this then cut the phone off!

Merchant street surgery you cannot message a patient to discuss their results and fail to take this seriously. This could be life changing results i am waiting for that could be a matter of minutes that could be used to improve my health. You can not play with people's anxiety. This is so unprofessional and i am so disappointed because i have been with this GP since i was a baby.

I have had been registered with this gp for almost 8 months and have still not been able to get a doctors appointment. I have been offered one telephone appointment, where I expressed that I would feel more comfortable with a face to to face appointment, but was refused and was just told to go buy a product at a Chemist (which did not help). I have had an ongoing issue for over 3 years and am very genuinely worried about my health. I call at least once a week and have been on hold as first in the queue for over 30 minutes. Not sure what else I can do!

Have had multiple phone consultations with doctors over the last 2 years, and a few in-person appointments. Really easy booking a phone appointment online, the doctors I speak to are usually very sympathetic and make me feel listened to. I rang about something the other day and they asked me to pop in that day so they could have a look at it and resassure me. Great experiences, easy to speak to someone, and easy to get any medication I need. Dr Syed in particular is always lovely.

Switching Gp’s so thought would be the best time to post this, have met some really nice & helpful doctors but Dr Sangeeta Rana Masson needs to go back to study & be taught some respect before she works as a GP. I’m convinced they hire anyone. Was seen by her as I was losing a lot of weight & she told me I had to eat more, gave me examples of foods I should eat (which I’ve already googled & tried) & that was it..had to come back shortly as I was still losing weight & thankfully seen by an actual doctor who said she was concerned & referred me immediately to the hospital for bloods & scans.. after going through different scans, etc it has turned out I had a further issue which could have probably ended up worse for me and this could have been prevented if Dr Masson had done her job instead of dismissing me. Then, was seen again by her (wish I had stated I didn’t want to be seen by her again) and had my daughters urine tests taken on a Thursday. Called the next day and one of the boys at reception told me they didn’t have the equipment to check the tests so they would be ready on Monday? I honestly don’t know if the boy thought I was uneducated or if he was the uneducated one but urine samples should be tested latest 48hrs… after that they’re probably going to be incorrect results. I waited more than 72 hours. These people need to go outside & touch some grass. Other than that the reception girls are really nice & one of the shorter asian boys who work at the front is amazing too.

Tried to get an appointment after years not getting seen by a doctor and it is impossible.
Just had a very bad chest and high temperature and I have been offered a phone call appointment in 5 days time! Ridiculous!
How can a doctor understand over the phone if I have bronchitis or chest infection?!
There is just no care about their patients!
