Not sure if I can name doctors but Dr Chapman today, probably the best most considerate doctor I've ever visited and I'm 41 yr old. Lovely guy and actually made me feel like he really wanted to help. Really appreciated.

At least at this surgery I was able to get an appointment!! A mixed bag, so far Reception and the nurses have been great, warm friendly and helpful.

Sadly, I cannot say the same for my Doctor, cold, dismissive, arrogant, makes it very clear that you the patient are an inconvenience, no people skills whatsoever, does not build any rapport at all, creating an atmosphere that is not conducive to discussion sensitive medical matters. Personally this makes me feel VERY unsafe. Much as I appreciate and respect Doctors (& especially nurses!), I am cognisant of the long hours Doctors and Nurses have to work, with inadequate pay...BUT...I find it very alarming when a Doctor makes it clear that they dont give a damn about your health. Very unprofessional. Striving for positive outcomes for patients should be the key motivational factor for a Doctor. Doctors who cannot comprehend this should be reminded who they work for, or alternatively please feel free to leave the NHS before you kill somebody because you missed something important because you could be not be bothered to engage with your patient..... and that is coming from a place of great support and appreciation for all NHS staff over improvements to pay and conditions.

Really impressed with the service I have received this afternoon! I rang at 15:05 wanting some advice as I couldn’t get hold of my Midwife. The lovely receptionist (I’m sorry I’m not sure of her name) straight away put me onto the doctors list and I received a call from the doctor at 15:12!!!! Antibiotics issued all in the space of 10 minutes from phoning for advice. Thank you so much!

I’ve always found the reception team super helpful when I’ve rang for queries in the past and cannot thank them enough for their kindness towards me!

I am actually now classed as an out of area patient but wouldn’t dream of registering at my nearest GP due to the high quality of care I have received at Kingfisher family practice!

Don’t ever get an appointment with Shehnaz Hussain. Everytime I have been here she is clueless, she does not help at all and has no knowledge of anything medicine related. Extremely disappointed

Went to the doctors the other day after the last experience I had I was expecting the same. Luckily that wasn't the case the doctor I had been to see never seen him before I assumed must be a new doctor. He was one of the most politest doctors you can meet sits and listens to what you have to say. Doesn't make no excuses or turn you away. If I need to see a Dr again I'd be happy if the reception says I was to see him. Restored my trust in Dr's. Thanks Dr Rai

Amazing practice and a big shout out to Dr jervis who gave me a steroid injection as I was in so much pain with my hands and could not do even the basic tasks . 3 weeks later and still like a new woman ot really has given me my life back thank-you xx

I hear so many bad stories about GP Practices and attitudes of reception staff, however, Kingfisher Family Practice is most certainly NOT one of them. The staff, (that's EVERYONE) are so kind, helpful, obliging and professional. Dr Jarvis has a great set up, his colleague's are specialised in a variety of areas, so one can always find the right GP. Yes you ring at 8am if you need a Dr that day. But you can see a Dr within a 2 week window, unless it is Dr Jarvis, he is in high demand. Such a lovely chap. So happy with this Practice, thank you guys. X
