My family have been patient's at Ibstock & Barlestone surgeries for over 33 years,
during this time with hand on heart I can
honestly say that the service we have all received has been second to none.
Through out the years I have always had a great rapport with Doctors, nurses &
receptionist that I have come into contact with, from Dr Farley, Dr Krisnen,
Dr Stack etc to the current Doctors like
Dr Houghton, Dr Sil,.or Dr Evans to mention but a few.To say we have been
through the mill a bit is a slight understatement, the nurses have all been great as have the receptionist,.always very helpful & look to point you in the right direction.
On Saturday last I took my severely disabled daughter with me to receive our
Flu & Covid vaccination's, fair enough there was alot of folks there but the way they looked after my daughter was fantastic she has a terrific amount of issues but Dr Sil &.the nurses were very professional indeed I couldn't fault them.
I would like to thank everyone at the surgeries for the incredible, continued
professional service we have all received,
So huge gratitude & thanks from all my family

If I could put less than 1 I would. Had an appointment for 10:02 this morning for my annual flu jab. When I reach there the queue, well there must have over 60 people waiting outside. I eventually left the surgery having had my flu jab at 11:55. The demographic of this queue were older residents, some with crutches, some with other walking aids. This is disgraceful and whoever is responsible for the management of this event should apologise to all those residents who waited so long.

Many thanks go to sister Sharon Traves, a nurse second to none. She has patiently 'nursed' my very slow healing post op wound to almost healed now, after over 5 months.
On the down side the disabled parking is rarely vacant and the almost impossible hill and endlesss steps you have to climb, if car park full, which it usually is, is ridiculous to anyone with mobility issues. The lack of high seating in waiting areas should be addressed and the door entrance is dangerous for patients with wheeled walkers, the bumb to exit nearly had me flat on my face the first few times I used it. The staff and doctors have all been pleasant and helpful, so all in all a decent doctors surgery.

Have never had any issues with this g.p surgery, receptionists are always very helpful and friendly over the phone and in person. Also was once seen by a nurse who made me feel comfortable and at ease, was given an appointment quickly too.

It's so nice to finally get doctors that actually care about there patients and make you feel so at ease.
Iv been given more help with my issues in 2 visits than I had in 10 years at my previous doctors, it's even calmed my mental state, a special thanks to Dr Jennison, Dr Griffiths all the staff there.

Never experienced such a farce as last Saturday's Flu jab clinic. Booked an appointment, drove to the surgery not expecting to see half of Ibstock queuing outside the doors. Nowhere to park as the surgery car park was full as were all the spaces along the High Street and both car parks, so the nearest I could get was the Co-op car park. Not prepared to walk from there as I'm disabled. This surgery is a joke. They can spend three quarters of a million on building work but the service still remains diabolical. Sort your act out Ibstock surgery before you get reported to the GMC for mis management.

Absolute joke of a doctor's. I've been lumbered with this place for over 5 years and have never seen the same "doctor/nurse" twice. Had multiple blood tests with zero followups. Had multiple pointless appointments booked then to find out on arrival that they have nothing to do with the actual issue. And the phone staff clearly haven't got a clue what they are doing and giving wrong advice.

I have suddenly realised I'm old. My knee is shot! Anyway had the necessary x-ray and a telephone appointment with Dr. Sill on Wednesday morning. What a great GP, made time for me to have a injection today (Friday). Ready for my holiday on Monday. Thank you Dr. Sill, the amount of stress relief you have given me is immeasurable.
