Am posting review after 2 years of brilliant care from all the lovely carers and support and office staff.

When I call I feel valued and they do everything possible to put my care visits in place. Admin is always spot on which helps as I need to liase with Social Care And Darlington Association Disability to help sort it all out. It's worked seemlessly and I'm grateful. My mother-in-law is an elderly lady who's health has been steadily deteriorating over the past few years. We do a lot for her and visit on a daily basis but it had reached the point where she needed more help with dressing, bathing and meals.

Initially, the council reablement team cared for my mother-in-law and assessed her requirement for care over a period of 6 weeks.

We selected Heritage Healthcare from the list of Darlington Borough Council's preferred providers, as we had heard about their excellent reputation and attention to detail.

A lovely, friendly lady visited the flat and did a full and thorough assessment of my mother-in-law, detailing all of her requirements and preferences.

My mother-in-law is extremely independent lady, who at first found it difficult to adapt and let people help her. But now she is a different person all together she has made some real friends with the carers and she looks forward to seeing them each visit.

Overall, I've got to say that the help that we receive from Heritage has been life changing for both my mother-in-law and also myself and my husband.
