I have just completed an accredited gong workshop with John Thornberry of Eternal Senses.

John is very knowledgeable in all of the subjects that he teaches and his passion for each shines through when you are in the classroom.

He has an interactive teaching style with a good balance of practical exercises that ensures that his students are kept engaged and that they gain confidence in applying what they have learnt. He does keep you on your toes with tests - and whilst this can be a bit daunting, you do make more of an effort to take information in, so that you do learn more in the long run.

He is particularly good at hilighting the different beliefs that are out there and whether there is any evidence to support them. He never forces his view on you, rather he encourages you to go and find out more for yourself so that you can make up your own mind. It's amazing just how much woo-woo there is that is blindly accepted as fact as it has been taught to them as fact by someone who hasn't ever really looked properly into it. Not so with John as he has clearly researched all that he teaches.

This particular workshop ended with John performing a gong bath / gong shower which was a real treat for the students and the perfect, relaxing end to an interesting day.

Highly recommended!

28th August update - I have since completed a Sound Therapy Practitioner Diploma and a Drumming Practitioner Diploma with Eternal Senses and can highly recommend both for a comprehensive education in these areas with lots of supervised practise that leaves students well equipped to treat clients on the first day after qualifying. If you are wondering where to train... stop wondering! Train with Eternal Senses as you won't find a better tutor.

I can thoroughly recommend all Eternal Senses workshops/courses at Hazel Mount as well as Sound Showers in Healing, Grimsby. The Eternal Senses Sound Therapy Diploma is a fabulous accredited course, really enjoyable and at a wonderful venue. John's sound knowledge (20 years + qualified), expertise and teaching style is first class, I've also completed the one day gong workshop which was great, very informative and more recently the 2 day drumming practioner workshop which is also accredited.

Have just spent the most incredible hour with John Thornberry from Eternal Senses . I had sound therapy and I have never known an hour go so fast . I have left feeling very at peace and my head feels like it’s been emptied . Thank you John , you have a true gift .
