I have received just the highest standard of care at Elsdale surgery and can't say enough good things about the practice.. My GP and the practice nurses have supported me through two seperate operations for two different cancers in the past year. The nurses supported me through infected wounds seeing me three times a week always reassuring and caring & calling in a doctor when there were any concerns regarding treatment. My GP offered me continuous support throughout helping me understand the process I was going through enabling me to make informed decisions about my cancer treatment, giving me appointments within a day of request & providing medication the same day I requested it. I'm so grateful and feel blesed to be a patient at Elsdale Street Surgery.

I’m giving Elsdale St Sirgery four stars because they are considerate, kind and have a holistic approach to healthcare. The receptionists are gentle and lovely and non intrusive and don’t shout your business all about. I’d give five stars, but it takes ages for a call back, which is their only failing.

Five stars to Nurse Lisa S. I’ve never had the best experience at this practice but Lisa who saw me in April and in October 2023 was so helpful and friendly.

She made me feel ease for both appointments and addressed all related issues. We even spoke about Kpop briefly.

I went in for a travel vaccination on 20th Nov and Nurse Caroline M saw me, also made me very comfortable.

Absolute shambles. Can't be trusted with something as simple as repeat prescriptions. Latest issue: a week since I requested via the NHS app, still not approved by the GP, and get straight up lied to by the receptionist when enquiring about it.

Final straw that will have me going elsewhere.

I have been with this practice for over 5 years and can't recommend them highly enough. All the staff have always been compassionate, diligent and efficient. For me, the engage consult system has made the whole process much smoother and faster, with face to face appointments within hours when necessary. Exceptional service.

My experience of Elsdale Surgery over the last 5 years has been exceptional. From the doctors to the nurses, the front desk and everyone in between. I have been personally moved by the empathy and kindness of the team, especially one doctor in particular who has been incredibly professional and supportive during some very trying health obstacles. This surgery has quite literally been my most positive interaction with any form of medical professionals in all my 10 years in the UK. I am saddened by the other negative reviews, but I can only speak to my experience. And I am so grateful to have been a part of the Elsdale Surgery during my time in Hackney.

For anyone considering joining the Elsdale Street Surgery I can wholeheartedly recommend that you do join.

Since I joined the Elsdale Street Surgery in 2021, I have been consistently treated with outstanding knowledge, patience, compassion and kindness by all of the staff I have come into contact with.

Since joining Elsdale Street I have had contact with two Dr's, three members of the nursing staff, a member of the administration staff, and most of the reception team. Each and every time I have had the need to ask the surgery for help this has been met by every member of the Elsdale Street Surgery team treating me with skilled knowledge, care, compassion and kindness.

They have also consistently made me feel as if nothing is too much of a problem, and I have never felt rushed at any point by any of the staff.

I do not know how they manage to both give, and sustain, such amazing levels of skill, care, compassion and kindness, but they do.

Although I have only been with Elsdale Street for a comparatively short time I have a lot to thank them for in terms of how well my health is at this point in my life.

I've been with Elsdale for around 5-6 years and they are the best Dr I've ever had. I'm actually terrified to move out of their catchment area because they are so good. Receptionists are always really helpful and polite, never make me feel like a problem. Dr's always take me seriously and have never been patronizing like in other places. Their response times are usually same day via E-Consult and I've never waited longed than 3 days. This is completely different to the experiences of my family and friends, who's Dr's (not in London) seem to never have appointments, treat you like a problem and have no staff.
