Spa Experience Bethnal Green

I've been here multiple times. The thermal spa is a nice way to relax after a long week. You can book in 2hour slots. Sessions are usually mixed male and female but if you prefer females only then they have female only sessions on Fridays. The spa has multiple steam rooms and wet and dry saunas. If you're brave enough take a plunge in the ice cold pool. After you have finished sweating off your stress in the different rooms you can relax on the loungers in the relaxation room enjoying a nice cold free beverage to soothing music. They provide slippers, bathrobe and towel as well as a key and padlock for the lockers. Will be back again and again.

I've been here a few times and unfortunately I feel the experience has declined in quality. I went for my birthday recently and the spa was basically cold. The spa had just opened but seeing as we have a couple of hours it should have been up to the standard temperature by that time. Usually they offer fruit and tea but there was nothing like this the past few times. One member of staff was very rude to me as well, which didn't add to the relaxation experience. This spa experience is more expensive than many other Better spa experiences in London and I do not believe it is worth it for the quality.

I don’t want to hurt this place because I like the idea of a community spa; hope staff / management can take the feedback positively and work to improve things. Yesterday was my second time here after three years or so and the facilities are noticeably worse and run down, to the point of defeating the purpose of offering a wholesome relaxing experience. As pointed out by others, the general vibe is quite derelict and not the cleanest. The cold plunge pool was quite filthy, one of the sauna rooms wasn’t working; on top of that, the kettle in the tea room was broken and we had to find someone to make us a cup of tea. The place was also super crowded, which also made everything worse. It’s a shame because the space is really nice and with a bit more care and attention it could easily be a good experience, but who knows if it’s a severe lack of funding or staffing issues at play? Anyway don’t think I’ll be going back

I would have given 5 stars, but like other reviewers said, the smell in an issue. Otherwise the spa is complete, could use a few touch ups but is overall quite nice; I really don't understand why they haven't prioritized solving this issue. I got a body scrub and a facial and I was very satisfied with the treatments. They left me feeling pampered and relaxed; my therapist was really good and professional

The spa treatments were fantastic, and the staff was lovely. However, the facility is as rundown as other reviewers describe it. Especially the shower in the treatment room was not as impeccable as I'd expect from a facility like this. I think I would still come back for a treatment, but won't use the overall spa facilities.

Very good if steam room, ice abd sauna all working. Sometimes happens something is out of order.some very good therapists I've had. Never had a, bad one.all been very good here! Shame prices have all gone up and the 3hrs is now 2hrs only. Only Fridays I think is only women too...will try and book a,session soon but think was fully booked before christmas/ new year- expected!!

First let me state the facilities provided are really nice. However some rooms were unavailable, one shower on my visit was out of use. Sliders and rope provided all need updating. The Google map location takes u somewhere else. Arrived 20 minutes late, which effects your time there. But that isn't half the reason for my 1star review. I attended with an expired friend! she booked, provided them with my name at one point, don't ask me why, also her name. After our spa experience, the following week she received a email confirming a 2nd booking with my name on it and money deducted from her card. There are only 2 options in my opinion: she made a mistake and booked twice unintentionally , still cannot understand why she gave them my full name, alternatively some funny fraudulent activity by staff. The reason why we no longer talk is because she accused me of booking this ( although I had no access to her card details) and without saying it calling me a theft. Management have not dealt with this issue. However if she was a true friend she wouldnt consider such a thing.. plus why would I give them her email address for a booking.! Some things are not worth fighting for or re visiting. But to be called a theft is unacceptable specially for £20 or £30

Visited a few years ago with font memories and was a bit shocked how much it has aged. Several hot steam rooms, sauna, plunge pool, and bucket shower are still there and fine but the hot room needs retiling. The walkway between rest area and lounge was flooded - maybe a leak? It was quite slippery and dangerous as a result. The lounge needs some more frequent towel changing too, all were wet and in other spa's staff come by and replace them regularly. On the positive side, I had a very pleasant and well priced massage by Anna.
