I want to share my recent experience and care after my 5 day stay in Brook Ward, East Surrey Hospital.
The Staff and care I received was excellent! The staff introduced themselves every shift, took time to listen to your feelings which for me was so important as I have mental health problems. The ladies that served the meals and drinks were amazing too .... thank you for the chats and laughter. This ward is a real credit to East Surrey Hospital, your staff are worth their weight in gold plus so much more. Thank you for making my stay such a pleasant one.

First time I’ve been to this hospital. Was visiting a relative after they were admitted following a car accident. The staff were amazing, taking really good care of him and doing it with a smile too. The car park is large and had plenty of spaces although it was 7 in the evening when I visited. It’s quite costly and cost me £5 for under an hour.

I have always had excellent care at East Surrey Hospital. From giving birth to blood test, scans, hormone test, A&E, baby care, peadriatricians, eye tests and more. Cannot recommend this hospital enough. Staff have been friendly, caring, funny, compassionate. Just overall excellent care. Even for the 5 days I was in hospital after birth complications.
Thank you to every nurse, doctor and staff for your care.

I had a neck spinal MRI yesterday 4.01.2025 . The staff were amazing, kind and very patient. I became disabled just over 4 years ago due to covid. Its left me with many disabilities. Derek the radiographer and Yotgi couldn't have been more understanding. I cough and choke lots but they broke the MRI down in stages and explained every step and let my husband who is my carer come in too. Although stressful I was put at as much ease as possible. Nice student and nice reception man too. A horrible experience made so much better by this lovely team I felt in safe hands

I visited the hospital for a breast screening and every member of staff who I saw was so lovely, made me feel at ease and were happy to answer all the questions I had - nothing seemed too much trouble at all. A lovely member of staff who accompanied my screening appointment walked with me to the next place I had to go which was so helpful and I felt incredibly looked after. Just wanted to share my thanks and show my appreciation for everyone’s kindness and care.

I want to give a shout out to Dr. Amy Symons and nurses sister Jane and sister Diane for their excellent teamwork and patient care. I had a great experience with them . I was very impressed with the care i received from them. I felt incredibly comfortable and confident in the care. From the moment I walked in, they were so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Symons took time to explain everything and performed the procedure with great skill and care. The procedure was done smoothly and professionally. Their kind and approachable manner really put me at ease. It’s clear they truly care about their patients, and their positive attitude made my experience a great one. I highly recommend this team! 😊😊

I have just got home from my appointment with the breast consultant who was absolutely lovely, as were all the nurses, radiographers, ultrasound technicians and staff i encountered. Everyone I saw today was polite and cheerful, I had my consultant appointment, mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy within 2 and a half hours despite them being very busy. I am very impressed and feel lucky to have such a wonderful NHS service so close to me. Thank you!

The care my daughter received on maternity ward was outstanding .She had two midwifes with her all day looking after her and then she had to have a c section and surgical team and aftercare was exceptional. The care at ever stage was compassionate and very professional and helped a first experience much easier to bare.The Burstow staff have been very supportive when she has needed care .Very clean wards and puts faith back in the NHS .NHS staff do a dedicated job under stressful circumstances and sometimes don't receive thanks and respect for what they do .
