Horrible surgery, thereā€™s never availability to see the doctor. However I came down to the surgery by 8:20 (opens at 8am) told them I went to the health clinic and thereā€™s a message in the system for me and magically a 9am appointment was available. Itā€™s a shame ALL I needed was a quick examination for lump in breast. Thatā€™s how they are helping BREAST CANCER. Disgraceful people, non empathetic possibly racist.

My consultant at chapel allerton hospital asked them to give me a pneumonia jab when I got there he refused to give me it he said i didn't need it, I told them I was having an infusion and it could cause pneumonia I have copd and cancer, he told me he was a doctor and knew better and if chapel allerton hospital want me to have it they should give me it it turns out he was not a doctor but a health care assistant called charlee, when I asked for his name he wrote I on a piece of paper and threw it at me, when I told them I was complaining they removed me from their list and said I was violent I'm 70 years old and been at their Halton clinic for 43 years.

I registered with this doctors in January 2024 when I moved to the area (half way through an ongoing medical issue) this then restarted the whole process because the doctors just simply couldnā€™t be bothered reading through my medical history.

I have been suffering acute migraine attacks since December 2023 lasting weeks at a time. Blood tests scans etc were done by my previous surgery and the next step was a neurologist appointment. When signing up to this surgery I booked an appointment, filled them in with the basics of the history and provided them with a printed letter from my previous GP advising the next steps. Instead of following this advice they decided to put me through the rig moral of booking 5 GP appointments (which btw good luck getting them) before they would refer me to neurology. One of the GP appointments they sent me to Bellbrooke surgery where the GP told me that ginger really helps migraines and to look In to that. I am all for trying anything at this point so I look in to it using the link to a research study she sent me which stated ā€œginger has no more effect than a placebo on migrainesā€

I finally get a neurologist referral and the appointment where the neurologist diagnosed me with chronic Migraines and recommended a medication to trial while I wait for Botox treatment as the waiting list is very long. This medication was to be prescribed by my GP. It took 2 weeks for my GP surgery to book me in to which a locum Doctor saw me and disregarded the neurologist advice and insinuated I was making it all up. The GP prescribed a higher dosage of medication (which we were avoiding due to previous side effects and was the reason the neurologist had lowered the dosage as a trial). I called the GP surgery to say the medication is wrong to which the rude receptionist said ā€œwell you will have to right the issue itā€™s not our jobā€ when in fact a pharmacist cannot amend a prescription based on a patientā€™s word. I put a complaint in to be sent a response of thanks for telling us we will have a meeting about this and put right the wrongs.

I then spoke with my Neurologist after trialing the tablet at the beginning of June and advised I wasnā€™t experiencing side effects but it also wasnā€™t helping. My neurologist then sent a letter to my gp with next steps (letter dated 25June). Iā€™ve had 3 doctors appointments since that date and was not updated about this letter until I called the neurologist secretary chasing information. The GP just put a prescription on repeat with no guidance on why or when to take etc. THE GP PRACTICE HAS NO DUTY OF CARE! All the receptionists I have dealt with (minus Donna) have a chip on their shoulder and think they are doctors, speak to you like trash and have no idea what they are doing (hence the load of admin errors and repeat calls having to be made to solve a simple query). This is exactly what is wrong with the NHS now. GPs have no Care whatsoever in an industry that is all about care, Receptionists are left to speak to patients like dirt with no repercussions and the complaints process is so weak!

This is the worst GP surgery I have ever had the dissatisfaction of dealing with.

I was sent by Leeds NHS Trust to a Care Home following an operation and East Park Medical Centre WERE SUPPOSED TO DELIVER CARE FOR ME ....what a joke ... huh .... I had to contact my own GP practice twice as I had an infection because I was ignored by this practice. The majority of my contact with rep from this practice was me telling them where the door was.

To add insult to injury, I had to pay Royal Mail a fee of Ā£2.50 because they sent me a copy of a letter they had sent to my own GP saying "no further action required" because THE EDUCATIONALLY CHALLENGED IDIOTS THEY EMPLOY did not put enough postage on the letter.

I have deliberately posted this review on Google instead of the NHS website, which shows other complaints, so that the general public can make an informed decision as to whether they want an inept service from this practice or to go elsewhere.

You have to call at 8 on the dot. And hey even if you do you cant get an appointment because the phone kicks you off for a full que!
You have to spam call to even try to get in the que. I've called over 50 times in space of 10 minutes because I've got a horrible cough thats been coming back for 3rd time in 2 month and I've been avoiding getting treatment because i know hospital will do better than these guys like they have every time, lets not forget the time GP did not listen and wasted my money more than 2 times with medication i knew wouldn't be strong enough for tonsilitis and the other that put me in hospital for allergic reaction

To obtain an appointment, patient need to ring @ 8 am,which is not convenient to all because of work schedule.I understand that some patients cancel their appointments but it should reflect on their diary (if they have one) which time slots are available.
I tried to book an appointment but the receptionist kept on telling me you need to ring @8am even though the appointment I am asking is not necessarily today or tomorrow .To the management,I would suggest that you should review your system to make it more convenient to your clients.
Hoping to see this changes in the future.

I wish it was possible to give a zero star. I have never had one good experience with this centre and I barely just started using them. They are extremely unprofessional and are very unapologetic about it. They are the reason i had an accident last month and I lost a whole week of shifts because of them (long stories). To make it worse, they are so insensitive about it. I would never recommend!!!! We have way better medical services where I come from.
