When you call at 8AM and 50th in the queue and when you finally do get through; the receptionist has the nerve to tell you that the reason you can’t speak to someone to get a simple repeat prescription, is because they have 17,000 people to serve and to phone back at 8AM the next day.

And the NHS wonders why people are angry.

These were the nicest staff, the facility's were clean the waiting area was stacious and I got a same day appointment too.
Quiet road to access.
The Doctor was as nice and helpful as can be! And there is also a Pharmacy/mini store.
Highly recommend I don't know why the reviews aren't higher rated!
All the best X

Phoned on the dot of 8am, after several messages saying the queue is full ring back later finally got in the queue (number 29!) Got to the front to be told no appointments available today, try again tomorrow. I'm at a loss as to how you actually get an appointment at this surgery. I think there's some inside information that some of us aren't party to. Forget booking online, always full.
How the elderly who aren't very tech savvy manage I do not know.

1 star as that's the lowest option. Was calling to ask about being asset for adhd as I'm struggling with day to day living. I was told 4 year waiting list. I was asked is that ok ? I said I dont know what to say. I was then told "well it's not are decision that there is a four year waiting list here at the surgery isit?
I hesitated because I was a little dumb founded. I then got is that alright ?
I said emm yes I suppose. Then goodbye and the phone was put down.
Last time i was refused a sick note because I didn't have the money to pay for it till the next day. I said "I'm going to be in trouble with work and be put on half pay without this note "sorry we cant"
Honestly I think the rest of the reviews on here say at all. If you dont like your job, or you do not like people. Perhaps find some other work. Not a drop of empathy and honestly i feel embarrassed when I have to talk to some of the staff at reception. SOME!

Terrible service.
I understand and respect that we are in a pandemic and pressure is on NHS Staff. However when a telephone triage is missed because an unrealistic window of 4 hours to wait for a call, 5 hours after the initial call is made, it is impossible to get another call back...even though the Dr left a message to call back as soon as possible!!!
Called back after less than 1 minute of missing the call, only to be put on hold for an hour and then told ‘sorry it’s a one call policy and you missed it’

Call the Walk In Centre, they get back to you in an hour or call 111, who again are quicker.

As for this Surgery, you’d struggle to book an appointment to get a death certificate in 50 years!!

I have been trying to get an urgent appointment for months. I can't get through at 8am and when I do no appointments. When I walk past no one in the waiting room either. Odd! I don't want a video call! I need a blood test and referred to hospital. I have filled out their online form for an appointment FOUR times. Reply says someone will be in touch in 2 days but again not a word. I've actually had enough. I am having to call 111 and they said go to A&E, so we are going to use the hospital resources instead. What is going on with this surgery!!!!!!! So many people are going to have conditions and illnesses missed, it's actually quite scary. I am reporting it as it's getting ridiculous.

Don't even want to give them one star! Went for a smear test in February and told to call back within 5 days, so i did. Called 5 days later to get my results, the receptionist didn't seem to care at all, was more concerned with getting me off the phone. Told me my results were fine and that i was all clear. When in actual fact i wasn't. I received a letter a week later stating that i had HPV and would be required to go to hospital. I feel lied too and i feel like the receptionist i spoke to didn't even care! This has left me depressed and suffering from panic attacks.

Called up to make a complaint and demanded an explanation, was told to email so i did. Its been two weeks of me messaging every other day for an update and i have had no response.

My dad is now unwell and being 52 i have tried desperately to get him into the surgery for a check up, was told my a receptionist that there was no point coming in and all their appointments were saved for other clients, not 'time wasters' as she put it. He is now on his 3rd week of being incredibly ill and i have had to take him to the walk in centre for treatment instead.

And two days ago my appointment was cancelled without consulting me and was changed to a time when i was at work (as i work full time) When i called to rearrange i was told i couldn't and would have to call up on another day as my appointment was seen as priority.

Absolute joke of a Doctor Surgery! Nurses and Drs are lovely and cannot fault them one bit. However, the recpetion team do not care about the patients, lie about results to get them off the phone, turn away ill patients and rearrange appointment willy nilly without any consultation.
